Unable to work in mind water
I have had to re design my project as I was unable to get a satisfactory mist when I installed in to a pond ,after some experiencing I found the mist was fantastic when I had a separate tank with fresh tap water in . I also added a low voltage can to tank to blow the mist out of the tank( half fronted storage box)

Used as a humidifier in greenhouse
This product produces a huge amount of mist. I have the 12 head with float that cost me £166. I find that the product is over priced and is likely at this price due to prime wracking up the price to offer next day del. I built a humidifier out of a large 65ltr plastic tote. I made a sealed lid and cut in 2x 120mm USB PC fans along with 2x 4 inch spigots, pipe and 90 degree bends. The reservoir is filled with 40 ltrs of RO water (this will prolong the mister heads due to no minerals in the water).ConsFor reasons unknown to me the water that the mister sits in stagnates very quickly and algae builds up. The float has holes in it and water gets inside the buoy, soaking into the polystyrene blocks that make it float, this allows algae to get inside the buoy which is impossible to clean out. I worked around this by adding a airline with air stone and 3w air pump. This has ensured the water in the res stays algae free. Also, the buoy does not come with any screw to attach the mister so it just sits in the buoy precariously. I had to purchase M4 stainless steel nuts and bolts to ensure the buoy was attached to the mister but it is not essential, just ashame the video shows the user attaching the mister to the buoy with seemingly supplied screws.ProsIf you need large volumes of humidy this is an unparalleled piece of kit. I've spent 1000's on professional horticulture humidifiers and NOTHING compares to the sheer volume this beast pumps out. If like me you are using this area using this as a humidifier you should buy a controller to regulate the amount of humidy required. I use the inkbird humidity controller and they work well together. My green house has been sitting at 27% RH within a minute i have my greenhouse at the optimum 70% which is then sustained between 69% to 71% RH with the inkbird controller.SummeryGreat piece of kit for anyone that wants large volumes of mist, fog or increased humidity. Annoyed that screws to mount the mister to the buoy are no included. But in all I'm very happy with this piece of kit.
