High Tech Pet Sofa Scram Sonic Dog & Cat Deterrent Repellent Mat

So I was of course skeptical at first. But with knowing I could return it, what did I have to lose. We have four big dogs. They actually ruined one of our sets, I could not keep my dogs off the furniture. I mean I tried several different things…from trying to take my cushions off, trying mouse traps, then using those plastic pieces with the pokey things, NOTHING worked. Then I found these scat mats. I started out with ordering two. I put them on our long couch, they make a pretty high pitch sound. I went to work and when I came home for lunch, I could hear that high pitched sound from outside. I came in the house and the dogs were all sitting there with their ears down, like “oh no”. The same thing happened again the next day. NEVER again after that. I ended up ordering four more to cover the rest of the long couch and for the small couch. All I have to do is have the scat mats on the furniture at this point, I don’t even have to turn them on anymore. The dogs just see them and don’t even try to get on the furniture. That high sound is enough for them to stay off.

We bought this because our 75 pound pit/boxer mix insisted on sitting in a white chair to look out the front window when we were gone. I started covering it with a blanket which kept it clean but didnt keep the dog out of it. I bought one of these, folded it to size and put it in the chair. I covered it with a blanket so he wouldnt think anything was different. He jumped in it twice while I was home and he hasnt been in it again. I have put some pillow on the chair so it would be obvious if he jumped up there again. Im so confident that he isnt getting back in the chair that I have moved it to in front of the door to keep him from jumping on the door. He has stepped on it twice and I dont think he has jumped on the door since. I'm not so confident in that, that I can take it away yet. Its narrow so a big dog can easily miss it when he is jumping on the door and I want to make sure its had its effect. Highly recommended.

Actually works. Bought the competitors one and returned it. This alarm is very loud. The other brand was not pitched high enough to phase my dog. This sounds like a fire alarm.

Wanted to keep the cats off the couch and it did it's job.

I totally recommend this product! It's the only thing that's worked to keep my dog off the couch. I tell everyone I know who has the same issue to give it a try.

Might be the best $40 I ever spent. I put this on my couch for a month and after my dogs heard the noise a couple times they avoided the couch. Now I don't even put it on there and they don't get on the couch.

This SAVED us for real. We have a cat who is determined to break into our room every night that we got to the point of having to barricade the door (we can’t sleep with the door open because our cats will have fight club literally on top of us while we sleep). We tried tinfoil, the spike mats, and nothing was working. I did NOT want to use something that would zap our fur baby, so this was my last hope - and it has worked! I guess if you have a cat that doesn’t care about high pitch sounds then this isn’t for you, but it has worked like a charm. We’ve also been using it for months and haven’t had to switch the battery yet.It is VERY loud, but that’s the point. Our cat will go a few nights without stepping on it, but every once in a while will test it again and be reminded. But the occasional loud beep is far better than the alternative.100% recommend

Bought 2 of these for a new sectional the dog was not welcome to use. It was an effective tool for retraining our lab with minimal use. However one of the pads stopped working after about 8 months while the other continues to work just fine after 10 months. So I have mixed feelings about recommending this product to others.
