the basil, the tarragon and the mint never germinated. The chives, thyme and cilantro did germinate. I didn't try the rest.

I love this little box of seed packets! There is a good variety of herbs, and there are plenty of seeds for each herb type. It's so compact that it's easy to store any extra seeds in the envelopes they came in, and the size would make it a perfect gift. I got it for myself because I wanted to start an herb garden. I have a black thumb, and I still managed to get most of it to grow. I planted it with my 8 and 10 year old kids, and we used it as a homeschool science project. They enjoyed learning about the planting process and about the different herbs as well.

Herbs arrived promptly and in a nice little box. There were random loose seeds in the box that spilled out-no biggie. The little stakes are nice. Seeds seem fresh. Some are loose in the paper envelopes, some in small baggies in the envelopes.Honestly, the price is high for the amount of seeds and variety.I plan to give this as a gift to our assistant who loves to plant herbs in her window.

This starter kit is adorable. The packaging of the product is well thought out and very efficient with the small wooden stakes and seed packs fitting perfectly in the box. You will need to provide your own soil and planters, but that is pretty customary with these sorts of kits. I planted basil, rosemary and thyme and no sprouts yet after a week, but I think I will have more luck when I have more sunlight and can put them outside instead of in my kitchen window (I'm in NH and it's winter). I appreciate that the mini wooden stakes are not labeled in advance so you can decide how you're using them and use them as needed.

Only a small portion of these seeds germinated. Out of the 12 packages of seeds only basil, arugula, peppermint and sage sprouted.

I haven't purchased seeds in a few years but I was absolutely shocked by the number of seeds in the packages. Maybe 6-10 in some of the packages. Is this normal now. I am used to seed packages lasting 2-3 years. No chance of having multiple starts with theses. And then, to add insult to injury, at least 40% of them did not germinate! Some varieties had 0% germination. The whole pack was bad. I recommend going with another brand. Luckily, I have an indoor grow area, or I would be lost this year.

This product is a chefs dream. It has literally every herb o can think of. Also comes with marker sticks so you can label the plants. I really like the marker sticks. Can't wait to grow some herbs :)

I bought for my hydroponic inside herb garden and planted some of each of the 12 varieties since I can have 12 plants. I planted this 6 days ago and a few of the herbs are already sprouting.
