Don't use this for smaller spools of line for bluegill or crappie. It won't fit.
I'll give it four stars, because it's a solid product. Easy to put together, ease to make it work. I just don't like it because I fish for smaller game, and therefore use spools of smaller poundage. This is great for big stuff, just not for getting a panfish reel ready.

I bought this ţo put line on spinning reels without the line twisting. Had a little trouble figuring out how to put the line spool on. Watched a few videos and saw the pieces that hold the spool aren't at a 90 degree angle. Then used it and put 300 yards on a reel with no twist and in a few minutes. And you can use it to take line off as well

Nice Fishing Reel Line Winder
This fishing reel line winder is very versatile. Can be used with practically all line spools. Comes packaged in a nice box with foam cut-outs for all parts.

Better than Expected
Great packaging! Most similar items are just standard plastic, pain in the aaa to open. But nicely boxed and foamed! Very easy to assemble and use.

OK but the original older version is better
This product (Speed X) works, but the universal spool holder (conical design) is not as good as the old original version of this tool (non-Speed X) which has 2 different adaptors that you can use to fit the size/type of spool. So I bought and kept the original version of this item, which is amazing and no line twist, etc.
