Recently had double Achilles tendon lengthening surgery 6 weeks apart. Found it very hard, uncomfortable, heavy and warm to wear the surgical boots from the hospital in bed but if I didn’t my ankles would be stiff and painful next day . Have ordered a few more expensive sleep braces that didn’t do what they promised so sent them back but this one seems much better and cheaper. However I only received it today and was going to order another but the price has gone up already so am buying a similar one from another company.

This ankle support takes some getting used to. It is part rigid and part elastic, designed to keep the ankle in a certain position which is what I need. It was a bit fiddley to put on and at first I wasn't sure if it was for me. I tried wearing it a bit longer each day and it did get more comfortable as time went on. My ankle is weak and also leans inwards so I really want to straighten up and hopefully ease the pain, time will tell.

This device arrived with an instruction booklet and an exercise ball.The device is a splint that will keep you foot in a certain position and is meant to be worn fit an extended period of time, however it says to build up the time worn.The front of it is a rigid splint which is what keeps your foot in the required position.My hubby is struggling with foot pain and he is willing to try anything to relieve the pain. We followed the instructions on how to apply the splint and obviously it will feel strange at first but he is struggling to keep it on for extended periods because the splint part is causing discomfort, he said it feels like the edge is pressing into his leg.This is early days so we are hoping it will get better but from his first week of trying it he isn't convinced that it's going to be suitable for him.

Tengo fascitis plantar y debo dormir con el pie inmovilizado. La bota me agobiaba mucho y buscaba algo más ligero para pasar la noche. Es bastante ligera pero no aguanta tanto los 90º a los que tiene que estar el pie, pero hace su apaño. Lleva una parte metálica que se puede sacar para lavar.
