Great purchase
Was hesitant at first, but took the plunge based on other reviews. Love it. Better performance and my mileage did improve with normal driving and pulling a trailer

Met and exceeded my expectations
The filter kit was very easy to install. I took my time to double check everything and clean parts of the engine compartment as I worked and still only took about and hour from start to finish. I had read numerous reviews prior to purchasing this system. The three main benefits I read about were increase in torque, horse power and gas mileage. My first priority was hoping to gain gas mileage and I was pleasantly surprised. I have several routine trips with varying driving speeds and terrain (a combination of interstate, backroads and city driving) . My normal mileage was 18.8 - 19.5 miles per gallon depending on the route and now I average 21.5 to 22.1 miles per gallon on those same routes. I am thrilled with the change.I also like the added low "growl" from the engine. The eco boost would always push you back into your seat from a stop and that seems enhanced as well. A recent passenger said they felt the same feeling as when they were in an airplane seat on take off.I fully understand that the filter needs to be exposed under the hood to allow the engine to get max air however, I cringed at the thought of the overabundance of our bugs (in the south) filling up my filter. I saw the mesh filter covers ("High flow Pre-Filters) offered by K&N (costs just over $40.00) and also Filter Wears (costs $24.95 and comes in a choice of colors). I bought the Filter Wears in Blue and it fits over the filter like a glove. It allows the filter to breathe without loosing the benefits to the engine while catches the bugs and larger debris. You just slip off the pre-filter, clean it and slip it back on.The only con I have is that K&N should provide the correct size hose clamps for all the hoses. One of them is just too small. K&N is better than that!!!

It works but takes some maneuvering
Item fits and the k&n video on YouTube is a little more helpful than the instruction manual.1 small issue is the worm clamps they give you are too small for the smaller opening. And the rubber coupler on the bigger bottom is very short making it difficult install. You will be fighting all 3 openings on the last and final step making sure each side has enough coupler on the tube to clamp on.Overall it does work

Much better mileage on my 2013 F-150
The picture is after an honest restart of the mileage computer and then a 25 mile drive,. My truck has averaged 15.9 mpg since I bought it new, I am really surprised at how well it did and as I type this its been about 2 weeks and the mileage is now stuck at 18.1mpg. I don't hyper mile and I am in traffic alot so these are pretty honest readings I would think. For a full sized crew cab I am very impressed and wish did this years ago. As for install I am not very mechanically inclined at all. I watched the only video on Youtube probably 5 times before I started. The install is very easy and isn't going to take hours. But do save the ring tighteners from your old system when you remove it. One of the rings provided was too small - the old factory ring fit perfect and will do the job. I wasn't missing any bolts and moving the air flow sensor was easy just use a pair of pliers on the factory bolt holding it on and it will come right off. It does sound different when accelerating but nothing obnoxious or annoying.

The value is here.
Easy install (30 mins), looks great and sounds good. Hang on to your old clamps, as they will fit better than some of ones that come with. Few others have recommended this, too.I’ve had mine for about 2 months. I think I feel a bit more “pep” in the step. Definitely a 1+ mpg increase. Definitely can hear it. It compliments my twin turbo spin up (the whistle sound) while not over powering it. No after market exhaust, so cannot comment on that setup.I would definitely recommend.Also- I did like another reviewer did/recommended: on the gasket that fits to the inside of the hood, I positioned the ends of the gasket in the middle of a strait area, vs having the gasket ends meet on a corner. Creates a cleaner look. See bottom of photo for visual.

It does what it’s supposed to
Glad I ordered when I did in just a few days this thing went up in price almost 50 bucks would have went with another system if that was the case like most reviews have stated one hose clamp was way to small already had a large one on hand wish they would have made the bottom boot a little long but my mileage has improved as long as you stay out of boost normally take a 180 mile trip all highway or back road so today I split the trip one way high way the other 2 lane 55 on the 2 lane I avg 21-22 using cruise control on the high way running around 70 I got 20 normally avg 19.5 and 18 so I does work if you do your part truck also seems to have more get up and go

Fit
Couldn't fit with the new air box cover so I had to eliminate the air box cover.

Great Purchase
I am going to start by stating that I am not very mechanically inclined and basically memorized one of the few Youtube videos before popping the hood on my 2013 FX4 Supercrew. The overall installation was actually easy with the only real drawback being the same as other reviewers had stated in that the O-ring clamp is too small for the new silicone fittings. As mentioned in other posts, I held on to and reused the original hose clamps and had the installation completed in about an hour. Throttle response is improved and you can clearly hear the turbos. I've only put 20 miles on the new intake so it's still too soon to know about gas mileage.
