Excellent quality. Instructions could be better.
I have had this cover on my truck for about 3 weeks. Overall the functionality of the slide apparatus instead of a pull string is excellent. Cover stays on firmly and provides excellent protection. The quad folding feature is great and does not lean against the rear view window. It did not prevent water from seeping in 100%. The corners near the tailgate seemed to be the potential weak point. I would still say I’m extremely satisfied with the amount of water prevented from entering into the bed. One thing worth noting. The instructions were not great. Almost removed a star as a result but I’m so happy with the product and customer service that I will still give this five stars. Note for Tacoma owners. You need to use the strip provided between the cover rail and bed rail. This means the rectangular bar which sets the clamps will need to go on the outside of the strip and not sandwiched between the strip and cover and rail. Installation was not difficult but it would be better to install with a person helping you to maintain proper alignment. I included a picture after a storm finished passing through my area that lasted almost the entire day. The main area where water trickled in was from the driver side tailgate corner.

It looks nice... Well see how it performs
Well, it's nice and all the seams are right. Same as the other reviewer... The instructions were horrible. Even the video online didn't even go over the different clips they gave and extra parts. But I figured it out and it looks nice. I wish the flaps on the sides were longer, I think it would stop more rain from getting in. I had a bakflip before on another truck. Which it was a true flip back.this one flips up and you still lose about 6inches of space. But the bakflip rubber joints shrunk over time (a year) and left holes. Well see how the leer holds up.Update... 7 months into it. Worst cover ever. I used it moderately. It shrunk because the 2 middle spots can't connect now. Rubber off the tail gate side are coming off. One of the holders just came off driving. The other just sticks. Clips are broken in the front. You know leer has a name. But I guess there company has gone down. It's just sad.

Skip this item...it came damaged...and is not a good fit for a 2021 Toyota Tacoma.
Ok the concept is really good...hard cover tri fold that latches at every fold and can be locked up out of the way if you have a big or tall load in the bed (ie quad, washer, dryer. Big box, furniture) is really cool....the problem is the CYNC LATCHING SYSTEM that locks the cover in place at the folds and at the tail gate are either just making it to the frame or not at all (see photos) it took 2 people to make sure the cover was on square to the bed of the box and we have it as good as possible...the company should fit the cover to each truck and year..but you get what you pay for...it would cost a lot more if I bought direct from Toyota I understand this and so should you...the other issue is both of the plastic holders/clamps that hold the arms in place came both broke!!! And the rubber seal on the cover its self already came with tears from being stored in a folded position and probably have the beginning of dry rot!!! (See pictures) so my advice is skip this product. And the directions are not complete they gave us weather strips and a bunch of clamps and man that took the longest to figure out where they wanted the weather strips at and how to set up the clamps and what clamps to use....the clamps are universal so you need to take one set apart rearrange with other parts and the clamps are set up to fit multiple vehicles so have fun with that...I hope you like puzzles...not happy I feel like I wasted my money buying a broken, out of wack product.

Great tonneau hard install
I bought this for my 2020 Tacoma. It looks great and I have always considered Leer top of the line. Once you get the install complete you will have a good feeling of accomplishment because the install is not for the faint of heart. It’s not easy by no means only because the instructions suck. I would think for $1,000 Leer would include a color detailed instruction book. The instruction sheet is worthless. YouTube is your best friend in this one. Watch as many videos as you can before and during the install. It’s on it looks great and I’m tired.I’d buy it again.
