Great toy
I'm not sure what people expect. Essentially this is a paper aeroplane. You actually can steer it somewhat and control climb, alter flaps for more speed etc. We were really very impressed with it. Obviously no you can't fly it in bad weather. It's a paper aeroplane. If it doesn't charge or connect then this is a valid complaint but ours worked faultlessly and the app is good. We've crashed ours many many times (I have 2 boys 5yrs and 11trs) and it still works great. Definitely recommend for some light hearted fun

Easy to become just a bit obsessed with!
Bought for my kids, but mostly gets played with by their dad! The software really is quite impressive, it does take some getting used to though, and it isn't quite as automatic as I thought it may be.My son is 5 and is definetly too little to be able to fly it properly, my daughter who's 8 can though. You do need a fairly still day for the standard paper planes, and as I found out on the first flight, if theres dew on the ground or it's raining it's a no go for the paper planes, unless your able to catch them every time - a damp piece of paper is not and aerodynamically friendly material. You can however get non paper kits or design your own. Herein lies the genius of the product! We've probably spent more hours trying to get weird things to fly then we have spent actually flying.Great product, much more fun then simply flying a drone, and genuinely a cool way to get kids (and their dads) into aerodynamics.

design flaw
Quite good fun and more powerful than expected. The design flaw is that if you lose your bluetooth connection it'll just fly 'where ever it wants' - in our case, over the neighbouring houses and is now lost in action. One really needs to be in a big field to fly this and not lose it.

Great idea for a product, lots of fun
Unlike regular drones, it is great that you can easily experiment with different plane designs, this adds a neat education aspect for kids. The price point is high but the electronics construction and software is well built and so I feel this is justified. The company is also responsive to support issues and I would happily recommend this to others.

Not worthy
Not for beginners. Hard to control. Only try this if you are up to this. Otherwise its just waste of ur valuable money.bit expensive. Battery will deplete very fast. The paper comes with the product should be waterproof(its not). Product can only be of use in summer. Even if the climate is a bit damp it will seriously affect ur plane’s body.it will loose the sturdiness & will become so hard to control or u need to make a new body.

Amazing piece of kit!
We love these kits so much we are running a school challenge with them and sending them out to 30 schools across Scotland! Amazing to teach and demonstrate principles of flight and iterative design by adding your own wings made of anything at all! Easy to set up, use and fly. Highly recommend.

Brilliant little kit
I watched a few YouTube videos before buying, and liked the look of the Nighthawk Tornado so I built one.The motor unit hooked up to my iPhone with no problem. I found it easier to fly the plane with the joystick screen. A bit easier than trying to fly using the tilt method. Only downside is not being able to swap out the battery when it’s flat. Otherwise it’s great.

Fantastic
I was a bit dubious about paying so much for a paper plane but it's fantastic and well worth the money. Clear instructions and app used to fly it is simple to use
