This is a great alarm system, very reliable and easy to use. I love the fact that everything is on the app and while you need to take a little time to set it up, once that's done you can really forget to do anything else and use it with ease.

i returned thi alarm system and the sim card i ordered with it, as they were not compatible dispite being displayed together. instead i ordered a system with a built in sim.

This is a very nice alarm system. It comes with a lot of accessories. I am using this on a detached building to replace one from the same manufacturer that I have been using for ten years. The old one is tired and doesn't have the app or wifi and it ate batteries like crazy, so it was time to upgrade.Programming this through the display interface is a bit of a challenge, and some settings can only be done through the display, like a power failure setting of the alarm. With this feature on, if the power goes out the alarm sounds. Since it gives a push notification I turned this setting off or closed. All sensors did come already programmed to the base or host as they like to call it. The app is a different story. The app (I'm using Smartlife) is ten stars good. The push notifications to my cell phone are instant. I am only using this with wifi, no sim card inserted. The app is customizable where you can have a schedule so the alarm arms and disarms itself according to your programed schedule. For me I have the alarm arm everyday at 8pm and disarm at 6am. This way I can come and go during the day and don't need the keychain to arm or disarm. Very nice. The sensors can be labeled within the app back door, motion etc. , so you know which sensor triggered the alarm. You can program delays and countdowns. You can view every event in the history. I tried disconnecting power to the base and reconnecting to see if and how long to reconnect to my wifi. It was less than seven seconds. Awesome.So why the but? Chinese plastic! The first door sensor I mounted wouldn't stay on the base mount because the little base tab broke. I had trouble with all the door sensors I mounted staying together on the base mount. One fell off hit the floor and the little metal rod that trips the magnet in the sensor went rolling across the floor. If they fall off and hit the ground besides an alarm annoyance it might damage the sensor. I didn't need or want this aggravation in the future so I dabbed some hot glue on the sensors to make sure they don't fall off. I hoping the battery life is as long as they claim (two years) because when the time comes I'll have to melt or cut the glue to replace the batteries. Worth noting that all sensors take AAA batteries, which cost a lot less the A23's and 9 volts in my old system. Also, a usb cord is supplied for the base but there is no power supply.If it wasn't for the plastic issue I would give this alarm system five stars. I'm waiting to see how well this works and whether false alarms are an issue. So far not a single false alarm but it's only been a few days. I might even replace my current Simplisafe system with this system to save on monitoring fees. But it has to past the test first.Update 5/13/2021I am very happy with this alarm system. It has worked flawlessly. Notifications from the app on my smartphone are still instant. The schedule feature is working perfectly.I highly recommend this system be used with a smartphone to enjoy all the features and for easy programming.

Cant get the 4 g to work everything else works awesome.

Movement sensor did not work. Its programming way to complicated. It was simply no good.

The system is all set up for use and it's fairly simple. I believe you can link this up to an app but I haven't tried. I prefer access to the cellular network so I don't have to worry about the internet going down. Don't expect to use a sim card since T-Mobile is the only one still keeping a 2G network but it's not like they still sell 2G sim cards. I spent a good minute trying to dig up my old T-Mobile go phone to get ahold of an old sim card but I found all sorts of old phones but that one 😂. I ended up cannibalizing the parts to pair with a 4G security system and it works fine for cheaper than buying the same brand parts.

It seems like a good product so far but it was very difficult to setup. i think if the instructions was clearer i could have given it a better review. You really have to have some technology background to navigate.

very DIFFICULT to program it, we were already users of a wifi alarm with an app, but it is very difficult to program it, we were about to return it, we had to program it with both the kypad and the app, a difficult mix, I do not recommend it
