I’m obsessed with the moon so I love watching this! Kinda tricky to get it to elevate… you just gave have patience with it.

I just received my levitating moon lamp and started using it immediately. I have no experience with levitating globes and I was able to get it going within only two attempts. It was easy. Not sure why some are having trouble to get theirs to work. I cannot say anything with regard to long term reliability. It has only been operating for about 1 hour. The power supply and base feel cool to the touch. So no thermal concerns yet.I am not disappointed. It looks pretty cool floating there rotating and changing colors.I was surprised that it rotates on its own. I changed the rotation direction manually and it’s still going in the new direction without any hint to slow down yet!

While it was fantastic the first 2 days. I can no longer get it to levitate. Had no issues first 2 times. Directions are completely incomprehensible. So no help in technique to get it to levitate. Weird that had no issues first. But now same technique no longer works. Have had it time out several times. gave up. It is 5 stars when it works. But requiring the user to be a magician to operate is too much. Update: Determined that there is no longer any difference with the magnetics when plugged in or not. There no longer is any upward force when plugged in. This was real easy when it worked. Ordered replacement which hopefully works longer than 2 days.

The media could not be loaded. PRO TIP: If you're wanting it to spin slowly, just spin it in the opposite direction. Spinning left spins way too fast, but spinning right spins slow and smooth.We had a hard time getting the lifting mechanism to engage at first, but after messing with the power button and restarting it several times it finally worked.This light looks awesome in our living room whether lit or not, and it's definitely an eye catcher when people come over. It's been very easy to reset it anytime it gets knocked off by one of the kids or something. The amount of control over the light brightness and color is awesome! Definitely would recommend.

While the lamp itself is very pleasant to look at, the vibrancy/brightness leaves a bit to be desired. Its easily visible in most lighting, but you won't be able to see with its light in a dark room.While the colors are easily seen, they aren't to the level image 3 would have you believe.However, what I wasn't expecting and was a welcome surprise is the moon is actually textured, causing the surface to naturally darken/brighten in interesting ways depending on color.While the 18 color is a bit pricy, I consider it worth the extra money. Got it as a gift for the partner and she loves it.

This is an attention grabber - practically everyone that comes into or walks by my office mentions how neat/cool/interesting it is. I didn't realize it not only floats and lights up, but also rotates slowly until it was mounted. It IS a bit of a challenge to refloat if power goes out or someone pokes at it a bit too hard, but that's also part of the fun. I'll let the offender try to refloat, and other than one success most folks give up after 4-5 minutes. With practice, you can float it in 30-60 seconds, much to their chagrin.Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

The floating moon is great once it is correctly positioned above the base. It takes a little practice and maybe luck to get it floating since the magnets like to pull it to the base. I was a little disappointed in that there is a warning that the globe can overheat if attached to the base. In the event of a power outage the globe will fall and stick to the base. When the power comes back on it will stay attached to the base and possibly overheat, according to the manual, unless someone is able to reposition it and float it above the base. Other than that it works very well and is a wonderful conversation piece. It is rated 3 stars since we only use it if we know we will be around.
