Gave this to my son last Christmas. It's was hands down his favorite gift. I love that each stuffed animal has a back story about another shelter animal who was adopted. I told my son a story about "Joey" and it made him so so happy. It's a wonderful toy for a child and I love that a portion of the proceeds go to a good cause. We've had Cooper now for 8 months. He's well loved. He does have a few seams that need repair. but overall a great soft adorable friend for my little boy.

I stumbled across Shelter Pets while looking for a stuffed animal beagle for my 1 1/2 yr old grandson. He adores my Jonah every time he comes over so I wanted him to have his own Jonah when he goes home. I love that these toys are based on real life animals with their own story and that the shelter they come from benefits as well. I will definitely buy another one. My dog also comes from a shelter and he has his own sad story to tell with a happy ending. Maybe someday he will be the next Shelter Pet.

I bought 5 of these (cats and dogs) for Christmas gifts for my nieces and nephews. They absolutely loved them. They are soft and well-made. AND very cute.

This plush dog is beautiful! Very well put together and I've read up plenty on this company and very pleased with their work! Found out that they recently donated to an animal shelter near me!To those that have remarked that it didn't last from their dogs playing with it please read carefully! These are not meant to be dog toys!
