The pieces are nice and solid, the board is nice.

Like and enjoyed using it several times. Would like 2 more queens for “queening” one for each set.

This is definitely a beautiful chess set. The pieces are great quality as is the board. There are 2 things I would change. We wish it was a bit bigger and if there were some way to attach a handle for carrying that would be amazing.

Made very poorly and cheap. Arrived damaged and missing pin that holds latch together. Description states LARGE metal deluxe chess set, yet is is quite small and falling apart out of box. Felt is partially peeled off bottoms of peices out of box. And to get a refund, I have to pay for the return internationally of pocket. Bad customer support. DO NOT BUY, NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Absolutely great

Only issue besides the delay is the screws arrived loose and the clasp fell apart. Needs bigger screws imo. The rest of board and pieces are of good quality.

Complete garbage set. Looks like a child went crazy with a hot glue gun, leaving glue-y strings and hot glue mess all over the inside of the board. Latches are loose, corners arrived damaged and delaminating. This IS NOT a solid wood board. Metal pieces are hollow, so the felt padding on the bottom cannot be secured many arrived already damaged. AVOID.

I primarily bought this for the weighted pieces, which I like the feel of them. Buying replacement stone pieces were more expensive than this set. I also appreciated the storage in the chess board. It keeps them firmly in place while in storage, which should help in preventing pieces turning up missing. Would recommend to a friend.
