The backs are stark white
I love the design of this pillow case, and the quality of the material is good. The color combination is great, and looks the same as you see in the advertisement. The material is a loose-weave and kind of like burlap in terms of how it looks and feels, which is okay, since this fits in with the Medieval theme of the illustration. The only thing I don't like is that the backs of the cases are stark white, so that even from the front of the pillow you see the eye-punishing white. This gives the impression that the pillow has a white border around it, something that spoils the mood of the design, which is intended to reflect long-ago times in the Middle Ages. There's nothing in the design that's stark white, either, so the stark-white "border" seems totally out of place and off-putting.

Maybe my 8 year old granddaughter will like it, it is a unicorn after all.
Printing is nice and crisp, but material is like a burlap potato sack. Took 2 months to arrive.
