So far so good with this machine. It's the third automatic coffee machine that we have had and so far it's been working consistently without problems. It grinds the beans fresh each cup, and the portion size is and can be well and easily controlled.The water tank is large enough so that you are not refilling every few cups. The bean hopper and waste bin also carry enough so that you do not spend all your time emptying and filling containers before you can get a cup of coffee.Size wise ... it does take up some valuable real estate. There are thinner machines, but then they went wrong after a few months. This one is going strong for now.

I drink coffee often and I got really tired of boring drip coffee and wanted to get an automatic espresso machine that is able to give really good long espresso coffee with crema. I wanted something that was sturdy, reliable, and was easy to clean and maintain. This machine is all that and since DeLonghi is an established brand in the UAE it was an obvious choice.The PROS- Exceptional coffee with perfect crema (same goes with making milk drinks with the steam wand)- Affordable compared to other machines with similar functionality- Compact: takes up less space than the drip coffee maker + coffee bean grinder I had before- Simple to use and maintain: Make sure to take the time to read the manual before turning it on or watch the How-To videos on DeLonghi's channel on YouTube- Heats up fast for both coffee and steam functions- 13 adjustable grind sizes with burr grinder (Only change the grind size while the mill is working)- Simple indications for maintenance (more water, empty grounds container, change water filter, descaling)- Steam wand: not the most powerful steam but enough to froth and heat the milk to make great latte artThe CONS- Cleaning of steam wand can be a pain: you have to disassemble the wand and hand-wash the removable pieces after every use to prevent any clogging or milk residue on the parts.- When it does the self clean cycle when you turn on the machine and when you turn it off it doesn't use much water but even with the nozzles at the lowest position it splashes all over the counter unless you have a tall cup to collect the water.With all of that said, the machine has been worth the price. The coffee is fantastic provided you buy good, freshly roasted beans

It’s semi-automatic. Am still getting used to it but so far so good. It uses unnecessary amount of water though to rinse itself. It does that when you put it on and when it’s turned off.

I bought this machine as a gift because I have one and love itno muss no fuss, delivers perfect coffee every time

After less than 2 weeks, it's already not dispensing hot water, nor milk which uses the same outlet but different fixtures, it seems to be clogged somewhere and is leaking, trying to locate a number for delonghi but only found a service email address

It's be a few weeks and so far I'm very satisfied with the purchase. Make sure you follow the instructions (or watch YouTube videos) of the INITIAL SET UP of the machine before you start it. It's very important. Once that's done then adjust grinder and brewing settings until your happy with the results. Oh yeah, and choose the right beans for your taste! Enjoy
