Nice looking pieces
Pieces were a little bit smaller than I expected but there was lots and very nice surface quality and color. Cleaned up easy before putting in fish tank. Would work good for miniatures etc.

GREAT FOR BABY BOX TURTLE TERRARIUM
It's simple slate rock but it's natural and really great for my box turtle terrarium. Someone gave the little critter to me (she's only the size of a half dollar) and I had NO idea how to take care of her. So, I read up on the subject and got her a HUGE 36 inch terrarium and tricked it out with all kinds of coconut fiber "dirt" , topped with moss, and added some of these slate rock pieces which I have carefully placed in "steps" to allow the little one to climb (not too high) but just enough to let her think she's basking on a rock in the "sun" of her lamps. She likes them. MUST RINSE OFF GOOD BEFORE USING as they have some white dust and there may be some tiny, broken bits that chipped off the ends. Overall, they're great. Some of them are 3 inches long , some are only 1 1/2 inch but you can fit them any way you want to build things inside your "critter dome". LOL. If your turtle is small, like mine, be careful not to pile them high, just enough to give her a bit of activity. I also placed one or two inside her bathing dish to help her climb in and out better.

Pretty nice, but kinda overpriced.
If I saw this 2 pound bag of stones in the store for $16, would I pay that much? No, probably not. That being said, they’re aesthetically pleasing in my aquarium and made a decently “cave” in a 10 gallon shrimp tank. For the price of the average aquarium decor, it was a decent price for my use.

Stones
They are okey I thoght I would get a bit more bigger stones, but they are pretty small, I was hoping to cover the bottom of my tank with these rocks but I would have been only able to cover a small corner of the tank, if if you don't have a huge 40 gallon tank this is for you.

Love it!
See pics. I glued lots of java ferns (2 different varieties) and this slate was perfect for the job. Now if I want/need to re-arrange, I just pick up the slate and move it. Great sizes to build a really cool cave with. I'm planning on making a cave for my 15g out of the rest. I'd definitely recommend
