John meticulously goes through the do's and don'ts of prison life. Although you hope to never have use this in life, the guidance from this book could prove to be immeasurable. Not only in terms of instructing you how to navigate through everyday prison life, but also to deter those, who by making different choices can avoid prison life entirely. John's direct and brutally honest approach gave me a shocking insight as to what would truly be in store for someone facing incarceration. He wrote The Ten Prison Commandments in such a way that was easy to follow and emphatically got his points across. It's just a great book!!!

I wish people would take the time to read this book even if doesn't apply to them. I think that this book gives me a different perspective. Definitely a great read!!!

Good information for future inmates too stupid to stay out of trouble, and a great read for someone wanting to see what prison life is really like.
