Q: Does this clear glaze have an expiration date/shelf life if properly stored?

I see no expiration date. If it dries out or gets thick I just add a little water to get the consistency I want.

Q: Can you dip pots into this or is it only for brushing?

BEING U ARE ASKING ABOUT A 16OZ JAR,I WOULD FIND IT HARD TO DIP. OF CAUSE IF YOU PURCHASED BY GAL. I DO NOT SEE WHY NOT.I BELIEVE IT BRUSHES ON IN A PINK COLOR AND TURNS CLEAR WHEN FIRED.IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN IT IS A .5 .6 ( HIGH FIRE )GLAZE BISQUE @ 04/05

I HAVE USED SPEED BALL CLEAR FOR PAST 4YRS.GOES ON PINK ,SO GREAT SO U CAN SEE WHERE U LEFT OFF OR MISSED A SPOT. IF YOU FIRED 04/05 FIRST THAN TO 5/6 SHOULD COME OUT CLEAR GLOSS IF NOT CHECK YOUR TEST CONE TO SEE IF YOUR KILN FIRED TO 5/6 IF NOT IT MAY HAVE UNDER FIRED AND GIVE YOU UNDER FIRE MATT LOOK. ONLY SPEED BALL UNDER GLAZE WOULD COME UP MATT,BECAUSE IT NEEDS A CLEAR OVER ALL. PLEASE CHECK YOUR TEST CONE A THERM O METER WOULD ALSO GIVE YOU THE INSIDE TEMPERATURE OF YOUR KILN .IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU FIRED IT AT 05/06 THIS IS A MID FIRE GLAZE MUST FIRE AT 5/6 REMEMBER 0.IN FRONT OF CONE FIRE MEANS LOW SOLID NUMBERS ARE MOSTLY MID OR HIGH FIRE HOPE THIS HELPS YOU?

Not recommended.. Not smooth glaze

The glaze is not smooth and it’s not brush friendly. It’s really wired to use and no matter if u try to brush a thin layer .. u will not achieve it as it’s . Because its so thick when brush it
