Does the job with plenty of torque!
I bought this as used like new. There was quite a discount from the new price. It didn’t come in the original box but all parts were there. There were also a couple small scratches that are barely noticeable. As for the tool, it worked like new. Right after opening, I grabbed a socket and checked to see it it would free the lugs on my truck. The lugs were tightened to 150# torque and came off easily. Removing lugs was one of the main reasons I bought it. That alone makes this tool worth having. I was fortunate to find it used, but It’s still a nice tool to have if you DIY any type of vehicle work. The portability is a big plus over air, I’ll be keeping it in my trucks tool bin just in case.

Works wonders
Great price for this. Sometimes it kills the battery faster then other times depending on how tight the bults are we are taking off. Grip is good even with oily hands. Super time saving when you have to change a tire or work on certain things. Kind of heavy for my kids to help carry around

Excellent quality and performance
I bought this tool to use when changing or rotating wheels/tires on my travel trailer. These lug nuts are torqued to 115 foot pounds (or pound-feet if you aren't old like me) on 4 wheels, 5 lug nuts per wheel for a total of 20 lug nuts. This tool easily breaks these nuts loose and spins them off the 2 inch long threaded studs in about 2 seconds per each. Power to spare- no contest, no hesitation. Prior to this I had an air tool impact wrench that struggled with this same application. I hesitated to spend the significant amount of dollars to purchase this tool but now that I have it I'm very happy that I did spend that money and have a top of the line solution. No negatives in this design- durable, compact, efficient. Highly recommend!

What crank bolt ...
Incredibly powerful. It even took off my Honda accord crank bolt with a harmonic balancer socket.

It's Makita!
Makita is tough! This took does NOT disappoint!.SO HANDY! No need to mess with getting the compressor around. Or a 4-way to change a tire. Super handy when doing trailer maintenance.Does not shred batteries. Performance is very similar to pneumatic tools

Wish I’d bought one sooner
Life saver. Why have I not gone cordless sooner……..SMHUse the heck out of this thing. Quality is excellent from this brand, as I now have about 10 cordless Makita tools. Will be buying more. Whatever brand you start with, just stick to it unless it is junk. That way you can interchange batteries and chargers quicker.I recommend Makita if you haven’t started your tool collection yet. There are other equal brands like this that I’ve used, but I have no reason to switch.

This is power packed
Purchased this because I have the Makita platform and I needed a 1/2 impact wrench for multiple tasks, one being removing stubborn rusted bolts on my vehicle while doing a suspension lift and upgrade. Positives, this is a power packed impact capable of removing some large stubborn bolts. There is very little vibration while using it. The lights is a great feature and functional. Negatives, it's heavy and with repeated use you will need to take breaks in between. Because of the weight, I found myself accidentally hitting the drive button while trying to remove a nuts while laying on back, I don't have this problem with my drills and smaller impact tools, just this one due to the weight and working in awkward positions. Overall this gets the job done and I no longer use my pneumatic impact tools. I would buy again but future redesigns should focus on weight, hence I give it 4 stars.
