👀 Don't miss out on the future of automation!
The Weewooday 10 Pieces AM312 PIR Sensor is a highly sensitive, low-power infrared motion detection module designed for versatile applications. With a working voltage of 2.7V to 12V and a wide temperature range, these compact sensors offer reliable performance and easy integration into various automatic systems.

My Go-To PIR for esp - home assistant
Excellent mounting ability. Simple press fit and they hold nicely. The plastic mount also comes apart in three pieces allowing for easy mounting when the wires are soldered up. Leads come out pretty easy to solder up my own wires. Makes it even more compact! They are very directional. 501 sensors that I used to use had a little better width range, but distance is comparable with these guys running on esp12fs reporting to home assistant through esphome. They’re excellent. Buy them you won’t regret it.

My new favorite motion sensor - I think
9 of the 10 work very well. The 10th one is different but does work. Most of them have an on period of about 1 second minimum (measured 950mS to 1.2 S), number 10 is about 2.5 seconds. Sensitivity seems good on all axes. The plane along the circuit board may be a bit more sensitive but just marginally in close tests. The blocking time is around 2 seconds (except for #10 which is about 5 seconds). The output with no load drive high to about 3V during detection. Note that this output cannot tolerate much loading at all, even a 10K resistor to ground will drop the output to near 2V. I plan to drive a 2N7000 MOSFET to buffer the signal. An NPN transistor with a 10K base resistor will also work but not quite ideally. I did not test power consumption or for false triggers yet.Overall, I am fairly pleased except that I wish the tenth one was as consistent as the rest.

Worked perfect
These worked great even at 3.3V bias. I used them directly off the ESP8266 sonoff basic and Shelly devices.

Works Just Right
I really needed these to work on a project I had to finish and it was exactly what I needed.

Small
on off sensitivity ok. detection on time is short.

It doesn't stay on long enough even the subject movings it turned on and off.
It doesn't work like advertised!

output high is 3.3 volts no matter what your supply voltage is...
So these little things output 3.3 volts when there's motion detected... wait a minute... No no not when motions detected! These aren't motion detectors! They detect hot things like a cup of coffee or when the surrounding temperature is not the Arizona desert where I'm at I'm sure they would detect people just fine... When it's 101° outside they don't really work too good. By the way it's 3.3 volts for hi-state output and the current out is "you better have some FET input amplifier cuz these things can't drive crap". So whether you have 12 volts on it or 5 volts on it the output high is 3.3 volts. To be used in cooler environments as well. And this remembrance of previous times for the on state or high output is BS.
