Laura Ashley King Size Quilt Set Cotton Reversible Bedding with Matching Shams, Ideal for All Seasons & Pre-Washed for Added Softness, Breeze Blue

This is the second Laura Ashley king-sized quilt set I've purchased in the last 4 years. It is absolutely beautiful, especially for layering. It's high-quality fabric and beautiful, real stitched quilting. It's a soft white, which is visible against my bright white sheets and bright white bed skirt, but not enough to stick out and look mismatched. It's thick enough to feel substantial but thin enough to not be too warm or too bulky. The shams are a bit oversized for king-sized pillows, but I like their look. Other reviewers are accurate that this doesn't come down very far on either side of the bed (king), but that is consistent with the last set we had as well. I just buy longer blankets to go under it to avoid the mattress showing. I have every confidence this set will last for years.

This is a gorgeous quilt. It is light weight for warm weather and I use it under my heavier blanket for winter. The stiches are small and close together. I don't expect them to loosen and break because there is tension on them. The pattern is beautiful. I bought it on sale so the price was super. I saw that people didn't think the color was light blue and they are right. After having gone to a few weddings that had bridesmaids dresses this color, I would call it 'sea glass'.

This is as advertised. Simple with a pretty design, a true white in color, and lightweight for a twin bed in a guest room. I didn't like that it came vacuum-packed (very very squished) and since it is 100% cotton, it had a lot of wrinkles! I put it on the bed and most came out, but the pillow sham (very pretty also with tie-strings) was still quite wrinkled. Will try to wash and dry the wrinkled pillow sham (it is plenty big enough that any shrinkage will not matter) and hope it becomes less wrinkled, otherwise, I will iron it. A definite good buy, am very pleased. Laura Ashley is high quality.

The Laura Ashley Felicity Collection Quilt Set is lovey and 100% Cotton, but it is Not pre-shrunk. It is thin so I would Not recommend for Cold climates. Perfect for Summer and Spring! I had read some reviews on shrinking prior to purchasing, therefore, when received I washed in cool water and hung to dry and the Quilt still shrunk 6" in Width and 2.25" in Length. The Sham Shrunk 1" in length. I'm guessing if someone washes these in warm or hot water and puts in the dryer it will shrink much more! Other than that it is a white patterned coverlet. Just as a side suggestion: a darker patterned sheet would look best with this quilt otherwise all white will look like a hospital bed. I would also add a darker patterned soft blanket beneath the coverlet to give it some lift, and add a throw pillow or two otherwise it can be lackluster. We are not near any good textile shops where we live in NC and I did drive to Marshalls but Twin coverlets are very difficult to find so we saw this one on line and purchased 2. Will take some pictures at some point and repost. Hope this helps with your decision.

This lightweight coverlet is perfect for summer. It is a nice size but wish it was a little longer. However, on the plus side the corners of not fall to the ground making it much safer than spreads that puddle. Color is nice clear cream, shams good size. It was just what I've been looking for and excellent price point.

This ties for my favorite purchase of the year. I am a home quilter. For a reasonable purchase price and with no labor of my own, I have a lovely, evenly machine quilted cover. The quilt fabric is good quality and I appreciate the quilts graceful quilting pattern evenly covering the entire quilt. There will be no batting shifting on this quilt.With an all cotton quilt, there may be shrinkage when I wash it in cool water and air dry it. It may pucker a bit. That is in the future and it does happen, it will not be a surprise. That is what happens with an all cotton quilt. I am aware and peaceful.I did choose the king size to use as a bedspread on our queen size bed. I could not be happier.

I bought a king size based on others descriptions. It does not fit my queen size bed. Definitely not as pictured. I like the weight and color so will keep it, but if u r looking for true fit, beware.

I have been a loyal fan of Laura Ashley quilts for years. The colors, weight, softness and durability. My only complaint is while I had a queen size bed I always opted for a king size quilt for coverage. Now that I have upgraded to a king the quilt is skimpier than I would like. I hope Laura Ashley wakes up like other luxury bedding companies and starts making their quilts in either 108 or 110 inches wide since kings now vary especially if you use a mattress topper. A bedskirt makes it look more attractive but to avoid a wrestling match for quilt real estate with my husband I have resorted to using two identical quilts .Do be careful of washing (cold only) and hang dry to avoid shrinkage.
