Great for art
Love this. Bought it for cold wax and oil painting projects where you spread paint thinly on the canvas. It is strong enough to do that and sturdy. Very smooth. Less expensive than the other brands that is usually used in cold wax art. I am going to buy several more.

Not for bread
I wanted to like this--I thought it would be an upgrade from the cheapie "2 for $5" dough scrapers I keep burning through as an avid bread maker. This isn't that however. The rubberized/silicone coating is over a metal "skeleton" (for lack of a better description) that is very strong. You can sort of see it in the image, now that I realize what I'm looking at. Unfortunately the rubber part is *not* strong at all and simply bends when you're trying to scrape a bowl full of something tough--like bread dough. I imagine this may work great for icing or something soft, but I'm not a sweets baker generally so it's not really something I need in my wheelhouse. I also find it to be a little big for most of my medium sized bowls. If I'm doing 3-4 loaves it fits the big bowl, but again, I have to press SO HARD to basically bend the silicone portion back and use the actual metal inside piece to scrape the bowl. Which doesn't work great. Back to the cheapies for me.

Cracked off into dough
During the second time I used it the corner broke off into my dough and I didn't find it till I was rolling it out.

Flexible scraper that can be used many ways
This brand of flexible scraper is the only one i will purchase after trying another brand and being disappointed. It may seem more expensive, but it is definitely worth every cent. I use it in painting with oil and cold wax and find it wipes clean easily, moves paint where and how i want and fits my hand nicely. I was a bit concerned when the edges "rippled" after use and cleaning not as gently as i might have; however it recovered nicely and looks as good as new. I can hardly wait to use it again and again.

Great shape in a sturdy scraper
This is a great bowl scraper! The outer covering and edges are silicone rubber and easy to clean. This covers an inner stiffener that's very strong - I can clear a batch of bread from a large bowl w/o any bending. The shape is well thought out, with a straight edge and a variable curved side coming together in a point. The curve seems to find its own fit with most of my bowls, pots and tools, making a 'clean sweep' easy.

I wish I purchased these years ago.
I wish I purchased these years ago. The hard plastic bench and bowl scrapers have been frustrating me for years. These are solid with with a half inch rim of soft silicone all around the edges. 1000% more efficient.

Weak silicone
The silicone scraper is very flimsy around the edges, almost as if there is a metal plate in the thicker center part and no structural support where the edge tapers. The silicone chipped quite easily as shown in the images. Also, it was very large for anyone with smaller hands, hard to control and maneuver when being used to scrape batter off a bowl.

Conforms to the curve of any bowl
It is a great tool because its graduated curve lets you scrape any size or shaped bowl. I have had mine for a couple of years and have used it to make many loaves of bread. It is just a sturdy now as it was on the day I got it.

Firm utensil, feels good in the hand
I bought this product to use as part of a cold wax medium art class I am taking, where we need to cut and carve oil paint and wax over canvas. It was recommended by the art instructor. It has proved to be invaluable as it is firm but light, so it is possible to manipulate the medium. I would recommend this - I suspect it is brilliant for cooking purposes too!

Good for artists
Really nice, I haven't given it much of a test but larger than a catalyst tool and has a thinner edge so great for painting, also it's flexible on the edges but has some rigidity in the middle making it easy to use.
