Good replacement battery
Replaces a slightly swollen original PS4 controller battery that would be empty within 2 hours when using it, and couldn't hold a charge for long while it was turned off.So far I'm getting good battery life, it's 2000mAh so it should be good..It's good that it's a kit that comes with some basic but necessary tools;* Plastic spudger (a necessity, which I broke one end off of).* Small philips screwdriver (it's cheap but surprisingly good for slightly arthritic hands because of the slightly enlarged rubberized grip on it).Other tools may be needed (since the PS4 controller L2 and R2 buttons are notorious for seemingly disassembling themselves with a very pesky little spring that falls out of them which is difficult to get back into place especially for slightly arthritic hands. Therefore I also needed due solely because of the L2 and R2 buttons springs fiasco; a small flashlight, tweezers, and lots of patience. One thing I wish this battery kit would've included is some double-sided sticky pad or tape to affix the battery in the controller (I made due with some Scotch tape). One of the frustrations I had when dealing with the L2 and R2 buttons fiasco was the battery kept falling out.The battery installation is very straight forward and super easy (that's not the problem at all), and since it has both the small and big connector it should work with any PS4 controller and eliminate all guess work and not really having to find out what the model number of the controller is (the model number by the way isn't even listed on the included controllers that came packaged with the original PS4's from back in 2013/2014, newer era 2017+ PS4's have model numbers on controllers included with those consoles).

Exactly what I needed!
My original PS4 controllers started running out of battery so quick (after a few hours) and I really didn't want to have to buy expensive new controllers (or buy generic controllers that just don't feel the same to me) so I decided to give these a try.It was so hard to get my controllers separated in order to install, even with the tools in my fix it kit (maybe because these controllers are 7 years old) and I even broke little tabs on both even with trying to be really careful. Not a big deal though because once the screws are tightened it is just as sturdy as before and I couldn't even tell. Once opened it was very easy to swap out the battery and close them back up.Night and day difference! I really don't know how they compare to the original batteries but it lasts way longer now (lasts days with several hours of use each day) and I am very happy with the purchase! I'll be buying this again if/when the battery life starts failing.

Good batteries for my PS4!
This is the second time I changed the batteries from the original (Ni-Cd) batteries. I first replaced them a few years ago with Ni-MH batteries, and now this change to Li-Po. I suspect these batteries will last quite a long time, but if the battery life is significantly shorter than in the past, I'll report back. So far though, these seem great. The only concern you should be aware of is that these batteries come with two different styles of battery connectors, and they are both permanently attached to the battery. You only need to use one; you can tuck the other one away in the controller body. You can crunch it up and fit it next to the battery in the battery tray. That was different, just something to be aware of.

Dead on arrival...
These did not work, they were dead on arrival. I ended up purchasing another battery with the same specs and it was fine. I didn't bother going through the trouble of a refund or return, not even worth my time. Battery wouldn't even charge, it was compatible- I got exact same, just different brand working. Install was easy, but a waste of my time because they didn't work. I would not recommend this product, or brand to be honest.

Worked fine for 16 months, with almost every day use.
Purchased 2 batteries in February 2021; had to replace them June 2022. Install kit was nice to use, but the plastic pry tool broke on the first controller. When first installed, one battery could go for many hours (10+) of play. Now, it’s about 2 hours of play. When I removed them, one battery had swollen up enough to pop the plastic box apart. The battery inside is marked with “1000mAh” — not 1200 as noted on the sticker on the outside of the battery.Regarding the “it won’t charge after first use” problem? The battery’s sticker has a line that says “ATTENTION! NEW BATTERY PACK MUST BE CHARGED BEFORE USE.” I wonder if those instructions were followed by those who had that problem. When I installed the batteries, I left them connected overnight before the first time I used them. But I’m not ordering these again. I am going with a different brand, that are 2000mAh batteries.

Works, but does not hold a charge for long
These batteries last only about 1/2 hour while gaming. Not good.

Money saver
Got the 2 pack for my Playstation controllers. Was only getting around 3 hours out of them. Replaced the batteries and now can play for 10+ hours without a charge
