The back threads are tucked in neatly and the top and bottom edges are reinforced with thread. You receive a substantial amount in the package that is neatly bundled with a thread tie. The pressure from the packaging does not cause any damage; however, you do need to be cautious with the ends as they can fray.The ribbon has some fabric-like feel to it and works well for garments and other sewn attire, but can also be used for decorative uses.
