This charger is durable, easy to use, and has significantly reduced my reliance on disposable batteries.

After a disappointing experience with a previous EBL charger, I am pleased to report that this one works as expected. One feature I particularly appreciate is its ability to charge each battery individually, supporting a range of types including AA, AAA, C, and D, which makes it exceptionally convenient.The display is clear and easy to view from multiple angles, and the charger operates efficiently, transitioning to a trickle charge as batteries near full capacity. Since I rely on rechargeable batteries for most of my devices, having a reliable charger is essential. This product meets my needs perfectly, and I’m very satisfied with its performance.

Been using the old Sanyo NC-MQN06 charger that came with the Eneloops which was working fine for things like Xbox and other remotes that use 2 batteries. But it's not so good for other things that use 1, 3 or more than 4 batteries, so have been wanting to get a charger that handles more than 4 and can charge individually.Looked at a bunch of different chargers and settled on 3 different ones that had a progress display instead of a flashing light as that seems way more useful (and it is). This one won out because it was on sale and cost less than the others, and it seemed like the ability to charge with a USB charger would make it more versatile for a power source (instead of needing to be plugged into an outlet, can use any USB power source that can supply 2A).This comes with the charger, a micro USB cable (the charger also has a USB-C connector) and a manual. You have to supply a 2A or better power supply, I had a SPN5970A (3A) that I wasn't using for phone charging anymore so used it.First checked to make sure all 8 slots worked and they did. Then loaded it up with 8 batteries, a mix of AA and AAA batteries. I kinda like the spring loaded bar for the negative terminal, makes it easy to insert and remove batteries. The positive terminal works good too, the alignment needs to be fairly straight for charging but it's easy to adjust.I've charged a lot of batteries so far, only issue is one of the fairly new PowerOwl AAA batteries wouldn't charge as the charger gave an error message. I tried all 8 slots and same error message. So I plugged it into the old Sanyo along with another AAA battery and it seemed fine. After around an hour or so I removed it and put it back in this charger and there was no error and it finished charging the battery.So not sure what the issue was, it wasn't totally discharged or anything, but it had been sitting for a few months since the last charge. It didn't have an issue with it's companion battery though so must just be something with this one. What it does tell me is I need to keep the old Sanyo around just in case this happens again.I haven't tried timing how long it takes to charge batteries so can't really comment on that, plus never timed how long it would take with the Sanyo so nothing to compare to. It really depends on how discharged the batteries are anyways.The display has a limited viewing angle, I had it flat on a table and found that having either the left or right side facing towards me made it easier to view it from an angle instead of having to look straight on if the front side was facing me. The display is illuminated. There are no holes on the case for wall mounting so you'd have to rig up something yourself if you wanted to do that.

Very practical very durable great value very handy to have. Must be in every household.

I have a lot of baby toys that require batteries so I invested in rechargeable ones from Amazon. This charger is great since it can handle a variety of different sized batteries instead of being specific to one size. It doesn't come with a charging block though, so you will need to purchase that separately. It also doesn't charge particularly quick, but I generally leave batteries charging overnight and they are done by morning.

This battery charger is excellent—far more stable than some well-known brands. It performs reliably, charges efficiently, and exceeds expectations. Extremely satisfied with this purchase!

My EBL 808 bit the dust. I was grabbing it and the power plug came out. It had batteries in it fully charged. I plugged it back in and nothing. No lights, no indication of charging. Tried other batteries and nothing. It lasted 7 years so I can't complain.So now here I am reviewing this one as the replacementPros -Price. At 19 bucks it was in my range.Versatility is much better than my last charger that only did AA and AAA. I can now charge C and D batteries in addition and I do have something that will need C batteries. Yay!Can charge only one battery at a time unlike previous charger that needed them in pairsHas a display showing state of chargeUSB C charging and it is working great so far. (I haven't compared micro USB vs USB C charging speeds)Cons --I worry about plugging and unplugging USB C, wearing out the port as I don't like leaving it plugged in(wasting energy or potential fire hazard). I'm not sure how you solve this.-I worry about unplugging and plugging in zapping this charger like my last one when the power supply got removed suddenly.I've got some EBL C batteries on the way so I may or may not need to revisit this review on how well it charges a bigger battery(potential heat issues, takes too long to charge, etc).

The charger worked fine for a while. After 3 weeks the battery charge status did not reach full. After 4 weeks the charger stopped working - all lights out. Revising to 3 stars for very responsive customer service.
