I ordered 2 of these as gifts. When they were delivered to wrong location and I finally got them I was expecting 2 boxes of a packaged product. Instead I got two kits dumped into one box all loose with a little foam peanuts thrown in. Like I said these are gifts and I hope they like and can use them because quality looks cheap.

I’ve purchased many aging barrels over the years to age tequila and cocktails. I recently purchased this barrel and filled it with water to swell the stathes so it wouldn’t leak. Normally, a day or two of water will sufficiently swell the stathes so that the barrel doesn’t leak. After a week, the barrel, still leaked slightly. I went ahead and filled the barrel with tequila and let it age for two weeks. Fortunately, I sat the barrel on a tray as it did leak some. This was a minor inconvenience and the final result of the tequila was very good.

This was a gift for my husband. He read the instructions and followed them. He enjoyed it at first, but noticed over time, it began to leak. We have only had it a few months and now it leaks constantly from the back and it won't stop. It won't hold any liquid at all. Very disappointed with this purchase. I thought it would last at least a year or two. I do kor feel like this was worth the money spent.

I filled it exactly according to their instructions on 1/14/19 and 8 months later it has never quit leaking so don't waste your money or liquor.
