Is this capsule larger than the ultra bone-up? i have been taking 6 per day ultra for years, love it, but it is large.

Yes it is quite a bit larger. I took the 6 per day with no problem, then ordered these and struggled to place them right in my mouth so I could swallow them. If they had been a tablet there's no way I would have swallowed it but the capsule makes it doable. But these are the largest capsules I have ever seen or taken. I just finished the bottle and ordered the 6 a day ones again. Even though it is more to take it is just a lot easier to swallow them.

My Osteo seems to be holding steady from recent tests. Main thing is physical activity, very important. I started on Bone UP when hearing a talk that it is one of the few calcium supplements that actually can rebuild bone. I have no proof, but it seems OK. I was told by a friend to add more Vit. K. also lots of leafy green vegetables have calcium. Check online. Best of health!

This formula (3 per day) does not mention the word Stimucal as the original and ultra do. Does that make a difference in how well it works?

I have also noticed and am not happy with the change in the formula. They have significantly reduced the amount of magnesium from 500 mg to 166.7 mg.

For osteoporosis, which version (ultra, boneup 6 or boneup 3) can rebuild bone better? Which is better for diabetic?

Long answer but after taking Bone Up for years along with my prescription for Alendronate Sodium for my Osteopenia (FREE from Medicare) I found out that taking calcium is not the most effective to build bone. In fact, research on line revealed that Vitamin K-2 is FAR MORE effective. See what you think.I take 100mcg. After my next bone-scan I will have the results.
