Otterbox Symmetry Clear Series Case For Iphone 8 Plus & Iphone 7 Plus (Only) - Retail Packaging - Clear

Way better deal to buy on here as opposed to the 50$ they ask in stores..I didn't realize this only covers the edges and back - no front cover so I had to purchase a screen protector as well.But, the brand holds its name well - I have yet to drop my phone (& hope I never do) but in the event I do - I hope this protects it!

I had an Otterbox (black) on my older iPhone. Was tempted by the many cheaper cases when shopping for my new iPhone 8 Plus but decided to stick with what I know performs exceptionally well. Glad I did. The clear Otterbox lets me see my Rose Gold iPhone itelf (very clear, does not obstruct the iPhone case or color - is virtually invisible). And several months later and many drops of the phone - zero damage to the phone or the Otterbox case.

I love the clear case, my iPhone 8plus is gold and I really love the phones color. I wasn’t sure that otter box even had a clear case, but they do and I’m pretty happy about that. You can still get little scratches here and there but nothing major so far, and I have dropped my phone a few times since I put it on. Overall impressed with the quality of Otterbox cases, and I love how slim it is.

Firstly, It was hard to put on and take off. Once it’s on, it was hard to press the volume and on/off button, needing a lot of pressure to actually press any of the buttons down, too much pressure. It started turning yellow within 2 weeks, and by a month it was fully a disgusting yellow/brown colour that wouldn’t wash off. Trapped a lot of dirt inside somehow, and moisture that got in never dried and would leave a stain on the phone it’s self. Would not purchase again.

I think you pay a premium for the name. Its a good phone protector but you need tough skin to push through the plastic to turn your phone on or off or adjust the volume up and down, you really have to push to make contact. It is by no means scratch proof, I am very careful what I let contact the case and it still gets scratched.
