Fixes one of Jony Ive’s worst designs
Anyone who has an Apple TV knows how ridiculous the little remote shape is. Invisible in the dark and so small it’s too dainty for men’s hands plus you can lose it easily, little tactile indication of up or down, easy to damage if dropped. This little cover is the solution. More grippy. Fits better in the hand. No confusion regarding orientation. Protected if you drop it. Color versions easy to find in dark. We got the white one for maximum night visibility but yellow, blue, pink would all probably do.To address some other reviews: does not block touchpad functionality. We can skip forward and back fine. Also there is no odor out of the box, but that is sometimes color dependent. One complaint: non Apple lightning cables often have bulkier tips but the opening for charging on the case is sized exactly to the Apple cable. My larger cable by the bed tends to come loose. So I have to charge it in the other room with my Apple cable. Not a big deal since the remote charges quickly and stays charged for weeks, but still a larger opening would be nice.

Perfect Apple Remote Cover!
The media could not be loaded. This cover is PERFECT! Smooth, easy fit to the remote and protects it on all sides. Also, love the color, it makes it easy to find if it falls in dark spaces!

Finally, no more slip-slidin away...
I LOVE my Apple TV (4th generation). Could I get something newer? Yeah, and probably will someday. But, I have always HATED the Apple TV (black) remote. How could Apple have conceived, then created two related components that are so wrong for each other? Like oil and water, fire and ice, good and evil. I cannot count the number of times, with clinched fist and cries of disdain, that I have cursed that slippery little devil. If only Steve Jobs (RIP) could've stayed healthy, alive, and with with Apple a little longer, I don't believe he would have ever approved the design of this remote - it's evil-incarnate.So, thank you "Akwox Apple TV Siri Remote Cover Case!" Because of you:- My remote will never again accidentally slip off the arm rest of my recliner. I was always peeking over the edge to see where that little (bleep) landed. Nearly always just far enough away, I would have to de-cline, off my chair to retrieve it (imagine audible "aargh" here). Even at times, as I am about to experience that one moment, so critical to the plot of a series episode I've been binging all weekend—maddening. Now, it stays in place - because of this case;- I can now tell if the remote is right side up or upside down. It takes a bit of time to memorize button pushing to launch the Apple TV App. For me it's a "feel" thing, because I rarely look while pushing a button. But, if it's not positioned correctly in your hand when you click (since it's slippery) you can inadvertently open the Apple TV App, pause, or stop a program, or accidentally do something you'll regret—all because you clicked the wrong button; The tactile design of this cover makes the positioning of the remote AND THEREFORE THE BUTTONS, super clear. Plus, the design makes it obvious if it's rightsize up or upside down.- I can see it! My furniture is dark, so no matter where I used to set that slick, naked, little beast it was hard (f not impossible) to see because it's all black. For instance, while watching a movie in the darkness of my living room. This case changes that. I realize there are many products similar, perhaps even better. But I LOVE the color and was the first product I found with good reviews and looked cool. I can see this thing IMMEDIATELY, and for that reason alone, it was worth the whopping $8 bucks.- I can find it! SO many times, I would set that "he who shall not be named," poor excuse for a design somewhere (even close by) seemingly lost. I think I once or twice I even put it in my pocket and couldn't find it (yup-that's on me, I know). But Apple - come on man, how about adding a FIND APPLE REMOTE to the "find devices" list. Anyway, this case solves that issue. I think if I threw it across the street, (which I felt like doing with the naked remote a number of times) I could still visibly see it from a distance.- I can feel it, after it slides off my armrest, then down into the crevice between the seat cushion. Though, I must say, I do take that opportunity to vacuum and siphon out all those Triscuit crumbs and stray popcorn kernels from unreachable recliner areas. Ahem...SO many times I've grasped for that thing between the cushions, struggling and accidentally pushing various remote buttons, causing chaotic things to happen on screen, and missing critical scenes in shows or movies (inserting another audible "aargh" here). It is hard to believe that I suffered so much grief from this tiny little monster, for so many years. But, the Apple TV (and remote) are a large part of my daily routine. And, while I would be better off not consuming so much TV, the functional aspects of the remote are what they are—integral to my daily life...but only if I can find and use the dang thing!!I imagine, someone at Akwox had similar experiences, performed some consumer surveys or testing, or just jumped on the bandwagon of designing an Apple TV (4th Gen) case. No matter which, thank you Akwox. This is (and I don't say it lightly), by far THE BEST $8 I have spent on a colorful piece of plastic in a very, very long time.

Great remote control case
This remote control case enhances grip and usability. The flat, thin remote is secured with a non-slip texture, making it easier to hold. The comfortable design prevents accidental drops. The short attached cord is convenient for storage or hanging. Overall, it’s a simple yet effective upgrade for better handling and durability.

Great case for people with physically impaired fingers/hands
Just what I needed for my slippery-like-a-fish Apple TV remote. I was in an accident a few years ago and my fingers can't quite handle the remote as it comes from Apple, but the larger size of this case with the extended "feet" under the front and back ends of the case make it very easy for me to hold and use the remote. The white color helps to find the remote when it wanders into the dark colored sofa cushions. I suppose the lanyard would be useful for those who play games that require a lot of arm swinging and hand gestures, but I found it a bit too long and cumbersome, so I removed it after a day of trying it out.One thing that concerned me when I first installed the case is the way it wraps around the touchpad part of the remote. I suppose there is no other way for the case to be installed without possibly falling off the remote, but it creates a lip around the perimeter of the touchpad. So far, it hasn't resulted in any performance problems with the remote other than it seems to apply a very small amount of pressure to the touchpad click, so I now only have to lightly press when I want to make a selection on-screen. Like I said, it hasn't yet created an issue, but it's still something to wonder about over time. One star off for imported.

Good Value
The included lanyard, while infuriating to attach, is surprisingly helpful when your remote likes to go couch diving between cushions. It along with the option to chose a bright color, helps keep “runaway remote syndrome” (RAR) under control.

Nice grip.
Works great! I ordered this because the Apple Remote is so slim. This case makes the grip easier to hold.
