I thought this device worked well for my needs. It is very easy to use. It's also a good value for your money.

I bought a bunch of pre-matted frames for diamond art projects that were 4 x 6. The diamond art was actually slightly smaller than that but I did not realize that almost all mattes that say for 4 x 6 are really cut 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 so there’s a quarter inch border over all the edges if you’re using a photograph. Which is all good for photographs but not so good when you’re doing diamond art and the mattes were cutting off my pictures. These mattes are cut only slightly smaller than 4 x 6, so I’ve been able to swap out the mattes that came in the frames I bought with them, instead of having to have custom mattes cut, which would’ve been much more expensive.I just wish I could find mattes cut to this size in other colors like solid black, or even black with a white core.The frames I got actually had two layers of matte stacked, which also worked great for diamond art so I had to use a crafting blade and cut the bottom mat off, which was the narrow one and then I put one of these mattes on the bottom, and then stacked the top mat that came with the frame on top. I think they came out looking quite good.

These little mats are also just right as inexpensive frames for keeping up with a quickly growing great-grandbaby. We can keep up with the photos as the grandkids send them. Good deal!

Received a lot of pictures that were 4 x 6 these were perfect to put on the 4 x 6 pictures in a 5 x 7 frame I’m very nice quality

A number of matts in both packages where indented, had uneven cut lines and frays and a few of then even had dark stained spots. I bought these because I needed them for a professional expo event. I will not be purchasing these again. I'll pay more elsewhere.
