I wanted to change a chandelier with a fan and light. This light works and looks great. It hooked up to the matching fan easily.

I would have given this light kit 5 stars except I had to paint it to get it to match the finish on the fan. Other than that minimal aspect, we love it!! I had been concerned about buying a "universal" light kit because I wasn't sure how it would match up with the fan (a previous purchaee). However, my hubby said it was easy to attach to the fan.The light (and fan) are in the conservatory and we couldn't be more thrilled. The style matches the other fixtures in our home, which is why I didn't mind purchasing a can of spray paint.

We are very pleased with this light! Ceiling fan lights that don't look like ceiling fan lights are hard to come by, and this one was perfect for the look we were going for! My husband was able to do the wiring himself with only a little hitch on the size of the holes. Also, for anyone who is interested, he attached it to a fan of a different brand, and it worked fine except for the adjustment with the size of the holes that he simply drilled out a little to make them larger.

Love this light. It totally transformed my ceiling lamp which previously had an ugly brown glass bowl. Makes the old ceiling fan look modern and clean. Love this look and sturdiness. Easy to install too. I ended up buying another one for another ceiling fan I had. Would highly recommend. Attached to a hunter fan, so it seems universal.
