A good keyboard

Bizarrely Amazon EU was selling this £3 cheaper than Amazon UK. Very odd. Came 3 days earlier than predicted - so no quibbles there.I'm learning Swedish and am sick of typing the ASCII codes (for the 3 extra letters, in their alphabet) and so this is a big help. Still struggling to get used to it a little as I touch type and some keys are one position to the right etc. But sure I'll soon pick it up.Small complaint about the Perixx website as I contacted them and have heard nothing. They claim that you can download a manual but - NOT for the Periboard-106 (which is what this is). Plus, having glanced at the others, I can't see that the manuals are much help.Switching my keyboard to Swedish mode was a case of changing Windows - Settings - but what flummoxed me (for about 10 minutes) was how to generate the £ sign (and other currency symbols, @ etc.). The £ is on the 3 key - but so is the # symbol.Turns out the left ALT key generates the # and the right ALT GR key the £. Slightly fiddly when I want to use a / as it's on the 7 key and so you have to use ALT before tapping.Still. Just teething problems in adjusting. Nice keyboard and makes a reassuring clattering sound as you type. I sound like a typewriter!!!

The keyboard met my expectations. It feels quite cheap but I somehow like it anyway.

ISO keyboard (upside-down-L-shaped enter key, 12 keys on home row between caps lock and enter) with Pan-Scandinavian layout.The three layouts (Danish, Swedish/Finnish and Norwegian) are all printed in the same white color.Types nicely. Fair price at the time of purchase.

Zum Testen habe ich die PERIBOARD Tastatur der Marke Perixx erhalten.Die Tastatur kommt in einer Produktverpackung mit einer Anleitung.Für meinen Pc habe ich eine gute Tastatur zum Schreiben gesucht, weil bei meiner die Taste hängt. Diese hier ist mir gleich ins Auge gefallen, weil sie genau das bietet was ich suche.Der Anschluss war kinderleicht - einstecken und loslegen, weil die meisten Pc die Tastatur auch gleich erkennt.Sie hat angenehm geformte Tasten die sich gut drücken lassen, so lassen sich auch längerer Passagen gut verarbeiten. Auch der Anschlagsound ist recht angenehm. Im Vergleich mit den mechanischen Tastaturen mit denen ich sonst arbeite, ist diese hier eher ruhiger und klackert nicht so laut.Die Verarbeitung ist gut und hier konnte ich auch keine Mängel feststellen. Alles in Allem ist das hier eine tolle Tastatur für Schreibearbeiten. Gaming wurde nicht von mir getestet da ich dafür eine spezielle Tastatur habe. Ich bin zufrieden und der Preis ist hier wirklich angemessen.

This keyboard is good. That's really all there is to know. Typing feel is good, quality is good, keycaps look fine, etc. It's not a high end keyboard, nor does it pretend to be one. It's a classic looking, rubber dome keyboard of high quality at a low price point.There's not much more to say. If you're in need of a good keyboard at a low price I'd recommend it. I bought it because it looked fun and have used it for typing and some light gaming for a couple of weeks now. It's fine.

Die Tastatur kommt gut verpackt in einem Pappkarton.Die Verarbeitung von Tastatur und Kabel ist gut, hier gibt es nicht auszusetzen.Das Schreibgefühl ist angenehm, die Tastatur klappert nicht beim tippen.Insgesamt ein für den Preis sehr gutes Produkt, wir geben eine Kaufempfehlung.
