Easy-Going Blackout Curtains for Bedroom, Solid Thermal Insulated Grommet and Noise Reduction Window Drapes, Room Darkening Curtains for Living Room, 2 Panels (52x63 in,Light Gray)

These were advertised as Blackout curtains. The description also states that they’re thermal. They are neither. As you can see from the pictures, the white curtains I completely see-through, but the sliding glass door curtains in the same photo aren’t letting light at at all. These are so thin there’s no way that they’re thermal. In addition one of the panels had brown rust on the top near the grommets. I purchased a brand new curtain rod from Amazon the same day so I know that that was not the source of the rust. I should have known for the price that these are not what I thought I was buying.

Okay I had this same exact size and fabric curtains in another color. They are wrinkled out the bag.Also the listing says there is "three layers" which is why I bought it. There are not any 3 layers it's a single layer of fabric. There's no black yarn. That's false advertising and that shouldn't be in the listings.As for how much light it blocks, I mean I got white ones and they let plenty of light in still. I'm not sure how they'll be at night so I'll update my review later.Update: yes these are more "light filtering" curtains. They don't give you a pitch black at night but that's fine for me, it's dark enough. They diffuse light pretty nicely though and evenly fill the room in the morning. During the day even when closed the light diffuses through the room and you can retain privacy without being on the dark.

These are exactly what I have been looking for. They let enough natural light in that this room doesn't look like a dungeon. But no glare from the sun or feeling cold or heat coming in the window. We have no overhead light in this room and lamps just aren't the same. I love the light from the window but it's HUGE and not so pretty. We plan to renovate the house and add lighting above but in the meantime I needed some brightness. The window is old and insulated but still lets some mother nature slip in. These curtains are thick but not heavy so they don't weigh down the rod. They are soft and smooth and don't have that rubber backing like most darkening curtains do. I hate the rubber backing because it makes them harder to wash and can't dry in the dryer. I will definitely be ordering more for the rest of the house and I love the color options.

Light gray curtains. Thick enough to cut lights off from the windows (although u see lights coming in from higher windows in these pics). I also used blackout curtains rods. My windows are facing west; it gets HOT in the PM. The heat is brutal in TX. I'm ready for some hot weather now 🤠

Definitely false advertising all around, NOT thermal, NOT blackout, NOT anything but thin material to cover a window. What a waste of money, these went in the trash can !!!!!

Does the job perfectly, not to heavy at all but blocks out the light & the cold (haven't used in the summer months yet but I'm sure they will be great!)

Decent quality and they look nice, but these aren't even close to being 'blackout' curtains. They are just curtains. These are perhaps marginally thicker and nicer than the curtains I had, but perform absolutely no 'blackout' function. Noise and heat? Maybe I guess, perhaps slightly more than a regular curtain. No backing fabric was used, it's a single piece of fabric and you can see from the picture, the light goes pretty much right through. They are thicker, and have a nice quality, but are definitely not 'blackout' by any means.If you want nice affordable curtains, these are great. If you need the room to actually be darker, these are not for you. I ordered the 'white'.

I purchased these to go in my living room as the evening sun comes through them and it can be brutal trying to watch anything on television. These block the light (and the heat) wonderfully. They have zero wrinkles in them and are well made. I would definitely recommend!
