Love it. Perfect fix.
I forgot to take good before pictures, but the peeling pleather has been driving me nuts! Flakes all over the floor constantly etc. Almost matches the original color perfectly. I can't stand looking at the trashy looking peeling spots, so this helped me tremendously. Pretty easy to put on as long as you take your time. If you mess up and try to pick it back up, it will peel off the original layer and not stick again so be careful. Had a small mess up and figured it out from there. Peel back the paper a little at a time and gently smooth it on. Sticks good-ish. Need to heat treat mine. Pretty durable from what i could tell. It was hard to cut through with a knife to cut screw holes under the buttons, so id say it is. Looks 1000 times better. Overall I'm pleased.

Nice looking and fairly easy to apply
We had a chair that the inner sides of the arms had the fake leather coming off all the way down to the backing. I placed a piece of the material over the area to be covered which was a little bit oversized. Then marked the curve at the top with a pencil and the start and stop points and cut it to size. I followed the instructions by cleaning off all of the loose, flakey, peeling surface and then wiped the whole area with rubbing alcohol. I exposed the end where I wanted to start by peeling the back sheet back a bit and then while pressing the material on as I peeled the backing off, the bubbles were taken out. Once in place, I used a hair dryer per instructions to heat the material up and set the sticky backing. It has been in place now for almost 4 weeks and still holding well. It is a very good match in color. Very pleased with the results. Just go slow and don't get in a hurry.

Definitely an upgrade, but not perfect
Our storage ottoman’s aren’t aging well - the lids in particular were flaking all over. I decided to give this product a try and it’s definitely been an upgrade, but it’s not perfect. I did my best to layer the corners well since the width of the material was just a little short, but it’s not completely secure and feels loose and the edges feel slightly sticky. I would absolutely recommend making sure it’s wider than the area you want to cover, because it’s VERY easy to trim and customize to size. The edge of the product is similar to duct tape, so I did my best to conceal that on the underside of the lids. Ultimately I might actually give them another layer with an extra large roll, then just cut the corners at an angle and fold them over each other (similar to making the corners of a bedsheet). I was also relieved that I didn’t struggle with air bubbles or creases - the product went down nicely as long as I took my time sliding my hand over the top as I slowly peeled the backing off. I did try to “set” the adhesive by using a blow dryer, it helped with the corners a bit. I did this about a week ago and so far it’s holding up well.Overall - I’m glad I did this, it immediately revitalized the ottomans and gave them a second life.Edit - update after a few months:This was the best decision ever to rehab those old ottomans!!!! This material wipes clean even when my kids spill stuff on it. The edges haven’t pulled up at all or collected hair like I was worried about, they stay flat and don’t feel sticky (maybe that was just the initial adhesive). I think I’m going to cover the bottom of the ottomans at some point as well.

It can save your money!
I bought this patch to repair the backrest of my office chair, which had started to peel. The large size gave me plenty of material to work with, and the self-adhesive made application a breeze. It’s held up well under daily use and looks almost as good as new. I also used the extra piece to repair a small rip in my wall where my chair constantly bumps into it, and it stuck perfectly. This patch is versatile and durable – a great DIY solution!"

Edges don’t stay adhered
Like others have said. The edges peel up after applying. The seat and material I used is black so I used black electrical tape on the two side edges that peeled up and it came out pretty nice. The front and back edges tucked under so they were not a problem

Works better than expected
Got this leather patch for my cat-damaged recliner. It was an easy fix, still gotta use a hair dryer to smooth it out. It already looks not bad to me. I’d recommend it to anyone who is thinking about dispose their leather chairs/sofa with light damages, this patch will make them presentable again.

Stretchy leather PU material
The material is super stretchy and sticks really well. Color is the same as shown on the photo. Just cut to the shape you needed and stick on the surface, super easy to use, and it looks good too. I can’t comment on the durability yet, but I look good quality.

Easy to use , great product
This product is great, it’s very easy to use and gave life back to our office chairs , I wish I had a before picture for the comparison.I was ready to purchase new chairs and figured let me give this product a try and figured I had nothing to lose , all the chairs came out looking great.Be sure to follow instructions and a heat source is definitely needed (hair dryer) to heat up the adhesive and get that perfect set.I also used it to repair in a tear in my cars seat.

Fantastic leather repair patch!
I recently used the Shagoom leather repair patch to fix a tear on my sofa, and I'm incredibly impressed with the results. The patch is self-adhesive, making it super easy to apply. All I had to do was cut it to size, peel off the backing, and stick it onto the damaged area.Once applied, the patch blends seamlessly with the leather, and it's completely waterproof, which is perfect for household items like sofas and kitchen cabinets. The light brown color matched my furniture perfectly, and now you can barely tell there was ever a tear!
