Fixed the leak
Didn't try tape with the plastic male fitter (RO Buddie) but bought this and had no more problems with a drip coming from the faucet. Their customer service pointed this item out to me.

Perfect for my RO/DI unit.
The plastic adapter that came with my RO/DI unit wore out quickly because I have to change units every couple of weeks for other projects. I needed something more durable than plastic. This did the trick perfectly.

Works ok, does the job
This was super easy to install, however there is no range of motion whatsoever. And I ended up taking the white attachment off because whenever we turned the water on it would spray super fast and spray everywhere! 😱 It’s working just fine now without that piece.

Perfect fit onto sink faucet with included adapter for RO
The package comes with 3 pieces:1. White RO adapter + rubber gasket2. Faucet adapter (fit between white RO adapter and faucet) + black rubber gasket3. Coupler (female-to-female style; I didn't need it) + clear rubber gasketThis greatly simplified presoaking/cleaning my RO system and testing for leaks after filter changes in the sink, rather than lugging it up and down to the basement (mine feeds both kitchen sink & fridge drinking water lines). 1/4" RO hose fit smoothly and securely into the white RO adapter, and didn't leak with the cold water handle fully open. RO cable smoothly unlatched upon removal.

Works Great!
I wanted to use a garden hose to water my plants on my upstairs balcony using my bathroom sink. This was the perfect adapter to put on my sink and now I can just hook up my 50' hose and water all my plants!
