I use this in my pasta sauce to thicken it up a bit, especially when using fresh tomatoes. Also, it great for adding to chili, and probably many other recipes. It's very rich, so a little goes a long way. Good stuff!

Came well packaged and on time. I use this instead of plain salt when I cook meats that go into tomato based sauces (Chili, goulash, spaghetti sauce).

Bought this product and got it today thinking that it was just gonna be tomato powder instead it’s tomato powder with so many additives that it taste nothing like tomato product. It’s very very salty very dark and color not like tomatoes should be that’s gross and it should be taken off the market. This is no better than buying garlic salt, celery, salt, onion salt your mouth just called us tomato salt.

I use tomato paste a lot in my sauces. Tubes and jars can be messy and don't last long even when refrigerated. This powder offers surprisingly strong tomato flavoring. And it has good shelf life. You don't have to use it up within a few weeks of opening the package. It's very versatile - can be used in sauces or soups and anything with liquid to dissolve the powder. I'm glad I found this product.

I use the product to add tomato flavor to casseroles. It is lighter than adding tomato paste and I wouldn't be without it now.

Was a little nervous first time buying since there's so much of it, but I have added it to a few dishes now and it doesn't add a strong tomato flavor but it pairs super nicely with chicken broth, rice, and pastas instead of using similar products with fillers and yucky stuff in them. Tastes like dry tomato!

better as an additive,like adding to powdered miestrone or such
