This is great! Some of the powders are mainly salt. This is not. I use it in so much!

Not the seller's fault, but it arrived in a smashed box & perforated bag. I was able to save most of the powder, but will boil the tomato powder each time I use it. It tastes ok...

I wanted tomato powder to make a homemade Dorito clone. This comes in a nice big airtight bag, with a ziplock type seal. It's easy to open and close and stays fresh. The taste is strong, and I have started putting it in other things I'm cooking as well. It adds a nice complexity to other savory foods.I love the strong noticeable flavor in my Dorito clone powder mix, and it works very well for that. I've been putting the entire mix in a cheap pepper grinder to make it easy to apply and ensure any larger pieces get ground up a bit. I've found putting the chips back in the oven while it's cooling down AFTER applying the powder helps the tomato powder and other flavors spread across the chip and begin to soak in. The chips begin to change color during this process and it also seems to help it stick better in the long run.Quality versatile product with a ton of flavor. I will certainly be buying more as soon as I start running low; it's really handy to have around and I'm still finding more uses for it in my everyday cooking.

Came well packaged and on time. I use this instead of plain salt when I cook meats that go into tomato based sauces (Chili, goulash, spaghetti sauce).

Can't speak to the product itself yet, but other than "too salty" most seemed to like it, some very much. What bothered me right away was the packaging not being as expected. I bought this for emergency food storage, and the picture shows what looks like a foil pouch. What I got was loose powder in a paper window envelope which may, or may not, be fully lined (it does have a zip closure). It certainly is NOT a foil or mylar pouch as expected, NOT vacuum packed, and contains no oxygen absorber or desiccant pack to help keep it fresh, so despite salt or taste, won't work well for my goals and will have to be repackaged to even make the one-year date on the pouch. Will be cancelling my subscription for future orders and look for something at least in a sturdy foil pouch or preferably, a can.

So happy with this. I was looking for something because I’m off of sugar, flour, wheat and caffeine. I can use primal kitchen organic, unsweetened catchup however, this is great for on the go. I keep some with me in case I go out to a restaurant or need something for tomato flavoring.

Good quality, would purchase this product again

The flavor is very strong so a little goes a long way, making it a very good deal. There is a hint of salt, but it's not salty by any means. It adds amazing flavor to good tomato pasta dishes and even Spaghetti-Os! The powder is very fine, like fine grain salt. I was looking for a replacement for an old Trader Joe's product that was also made of ground dried tomato, but this is a finer powder, and blends smoothly into sauces, not gritty at all.
