The media could not be loaded. Compared to the squeaky hamster wheel that came with our starter hamster habitat, this one is much quieter and our nearby animals can sleep better through the night. The surface is large enough for our dwarf hamster to get a full sprint in comfortably. The angle of the wheel is great for the hamster with the exception of it taking up a lot of floor space in his cage. It also tends to accumulate dust from the dust bath nearby, but it’s easy to clean. It’s sturdy and does the job. It’s a good value, but will take a lot of room in a smaller cage.

Bought this for a friends new hamster and she loves it. Over time she’s mastered using it. There is a slight noise as it moves however much nicer than the old school metal wheel sounds. I definitely recommend this purchase.

This is pretty good for my robo hamster. I tried a couple of different wheels before getting the saucer, and I personally think it's safer because the hamster can't get spun around upside down and fall off from the top of the wheel. My hamster does get going pretty fast on the saucer and sometimes it kind of flings him off if he stops too suddenly, but still I think it's better than falling from a height on a wheel. It's also really quiet, which is great. I have to clean it every morning since it gets pretty dirty with him running on it and excreting on it all night, but it only takes about thirty seconds to clean. Another thing to consider is that it takes up a lot of space in the cage, but I think it's worth it. Overall it's a pretty good product.

These silent runners are the perfect size for my dwarf hamsters and they are completely silent. Excellent product for the price. Very easy to clean and assemble. Would buy again if needed.

I used the product for my hermit crabs and it has held up very well. It was just a little difficult to put together at first, but other else very good.

I bought two of these since they were cheap and I gave them to two separate gerbils. Both went almost completely unused, and one got chewed up very badly so it couldn’t stand up properly. The gerbil last don’t seem to understand how to use them, or they don’t like running on a non-level surface. I previously had a different type, an upright wheel, and the gerbils loved it and would fight to use it (sadly that wheel stopped working due to a bearing rusted). So I would not recommend these horizontal style wheels, at least not for large gerbils.

It came cracked and its design insists that I break it when I put it together. This is my second one and the first one went together fine so I’m assuming uniformity and quality control aren’t priorities. Oh it is quiet though so that’s good.

honestly, my hamster would give a five star review for this if he could type. this was simultaneously the best thing i ever did for his well being and the worst thing i ever did for mine. he LOVES this things, i’m talking running for hours on end. totally cured any bar chewing i had going on (there was a period were i was waiting for some new stuff to come in and he was lacking for a few days, the boredom chewing was so sad to listen to). however, if your hamster is in your room beware. it’s not necessarily noisy itself (a little oil helped any minor noise) but the sound of the little guys feet on the plastic… god help you if you’re a light sleeper. whatever, happy hamster happy life.
