Doesn't work with Intel MacBooks, and Asus displays
For some reason, I guess it's some quirk with the DisplayPort chipset, when connecting specifically an Intel MacBook to an Asus display (I've tried two different models), the picture just hangs and eventually the monitor completely crashes! Have to unplug it from the wall to get any buttons to response and etcetera.I can't entirely blame this product specifically though - it's possible that I just have a specific bad combination of hardware here.Works perfectly on my other M1 Pro MacBook, which obviously uses a different (on-die) DisplayPort/Thunderbolt controller.

Plug and play
Added this to my TS4 so that I can gain access to a second screen. Literally just a case of plug in and hey presto, second external monitor appeared and kicked into life. Running a QHD monitor on it. (have 2 in total) No hassle, and all the features are up and running.
