Everything seemed good and all but 4 months later and it ripped. Ugh!UPDATEAfter my review was posted the company reached out to see what they could do to resolve my issue. My review wasn’t too harsh but they still insisted on making it right, which to me means they are committed to customer satisfaction. They also made me aware of proper installation of the cover in case I made a mistake with my first purchase. Changing my 2 star review to a 5. Thanks!

UPDATE: I have 6 and 4 yo boys and they ruined this jumping on the bed. The protector unfortunately is not like the picture and has seams running down the center of both sides of the protector. Once it starts ripping it's a wrap! Throw it away!I just put it on my bed about 3 days ago. So far so good. It does not have that plastic like feeling when you lay down which is great. Seems durable enough. Please use caution when sliding it onto your mattress though bc a couple of times I pulled harder than I meant to and felt like It was stretching the protector and that it might rip. I got king and it fit perfectly. I did have to pinch the seams while closing bc I felt again that I could accidentally rip the zipper off or stretch/tear a hole in the protector but if your wanting to avoid all that but the cali king for your standard king size mattress.

I bought this item because I was getting bites at night. I suspected bedbugs, but could find no evidence. It could have been small spiders or other insects. Once this item was used, I no longer have a problem.

This zip up mattress protector is wonderful! Should’ve bought long ago! When my child has bed wetting accident I simply remove sheet & wipe it down with soapy rag & put a new sheet on. No more frustrating nights of putting kid in bed with me only to be wet on again. Excellent quality, deep pockets make it versitle for use on other style mattresses also. Air tight plastic foe great protection! Don’t hear any sound when moving around on it and it’s comfortable & not too hot in the summer.

This works great, especially for the value. Plastic is not super noisy as some tend to be, good quality, and fits great.

I normally go for the cheapest ones. I never had an issue with them but this round I wanted to try a more expensive one. The zipper broke as soon as I tugged it to close it. It's not a big deal for me but I still wish I could actually close it.They contacted me and did their best to help with the zipper situation. They have been very professional and understanding. I give them 5 star for customer care!

I saw people complaining about the cover getting ripped. I was worried about it afterwards but then saw the seller's comment that you need to put it in a certain way. I did it like it was showed and it wasn't even close to tipping. I have no idea how others ripped it. Just take out your mattress and put it up with someone's help. I bought it because of my stressed and anxious kitty which pees on my bed from time to time. While trying to minimize her anxiety and help her, I decided to buy this cover so my new mattress won't be soaked with cat's piss. Today my kitty did it and I'm happy to see that nothing soaked into a mattress, all of it stayed on top of the cover! Super helpful when you have pets. I put mattress sheet on top of it and I don't really feel any difference. When you lay for a long time and get up, it makes like a suction sound but it's quiet and doesn't bother at all! I recommend it!

I bought this mattress cover for a twin bed that I use in a covered porch daybed so that the mattress doesn't get spoiled. The 9" depth fit the bed perfectly, as it's not a very high mattress. I have a decorative daybed cover over the plastic cover and when you sit on the bed, you don't feel like you're sitting on plastic.

Great mattress protector. The only thing I should mention is that it has REALLY strong smell of plastic. I highly recommend you to open the package and leave it in a well-ventilated area for 2 days. I did not do that and I ended up sleeping on my bed with this smell for 2 days. Ewww.

It's something between a gricery bag and an inflatable pool in terms of thickness. Like a shower curtain liner. It stinks like new shlwer curtain too. We needed it to store a matress in the basement, it ripped a big gash in it with very little effort. So, very fragile to move.

Fits perfectly, and is waterproof. Everything I needed for my daughters move to a big girl bed :)

Product was not that heavy duty as described,we put three holes in it trying to put it on the bed
