Excellent game to play with the family. Easy to learn.
Great addition to our collection. Board is larger than original, deluxe train pieces look cool and has all the expansions included. Buy this if you don't have TTR Europe already. Easy to learn and fun to play over and over. Love the stations addition to the game, makes strategies easier sometimes.

A Fantastic Special Edition for a Fantastic Board Game
The original American version of Ticket to Ride is hand down my favorite board game to play. The Anniversary Edition of Europe is very similar to that original version, but different enough that it warrants having both of them . Anyone familiar with the original will have an easy time playing this version. But, there are a few subtle differences that don’t make it feel like you’re playing a more expensive version of the original. The attention to detail in the Anniversary Edition are amazing: the immense amount of destination tickets: the very ornate game board: and most all of all, the insanely amazingly well done mini train cars that look like real train cars. When I saw the announcement in the spring for this new edition, I got very excited. Everything about the finished product met or exceeded my lofty expectations. Whether you are already a fan of the Ticket to Ride franchise, or are interested in getting into the game for the first time, you will not be disappointed in this edition of the game!

Beautiful. (And, of course, fun.)
My 8-year-old daughter loves ticket to ride, so we got this for Christmas. It’s a massive box, and the build quality is phenomenal. I love that the trains are different colors and models. It comes with a number of expansions - but that really just means it has more destination cards to pick from. If you have played tickets to ride, you’ll pick this up quickly. If you have never played ticket to ride, you can pick this up in a half hour or so.We order this to the original, I think because the trains themselves are more fun to play with, but I C also like how much more variation you get on this map in terms of the routes to can make. The only negative is that because so many “expansions” are included, we have to sort through the destination cards each time to include only the ones we want. Also, the stations are a little fiddly in terms of their mechanic, so you should read and re-read the rules for them before your first game.

Best Version of Ticket to Ride
My family plays this every weekend. The anniversary addition is worth the extra cost getting the train cars more easily distinguishable and in separate tins, plus enough cards to play different versions, allowing for variety, and enjoy week after week. Easy enough to learn, and anyone can become the ticket master.

Great Components - High Quality - Big Fun
This game is amazing. This version is perfect and has amazing components. Any Ticket to Ride fan will love this anniversary box. I'm glad I purchased it when I did as I believe the price is going up, but if you can find it for a good deal, then snag it for your enjoyment.

Great Family Game
This game is easy to learn how to play and helps with geography in a super fun way! The board is visually appealing and this special edition includes nice tins that contain the train and station pieces, too. We haven’t played the expansion cards but are looking forward to fresh games when the base game isn’t quite enough (which I suspect will be a while). We play with our 11 year old son and our 23 year old daughter introduced us to the game.
