Very simple to put together, the pipes screw together to hold it all together. Seems very sturdy. Using it for baking supplies and jars of flour. Looks great!

These shelves are everything that I wanted. They are sturdy and beautiful. I have limited pantry space in my kitchen and needed something that would fit beside my refrigerator to hold my dry goods. It is the perfect width. I do wish it had 6 shelves instead of 5 but it is great as is.

Update: Once the seller discovered my emails they immediately communicated with me. They explained the problem, apologized & sent out a replacement right away. Sure enough, it IS a lovely product. I’m very pleased with both customer service and with the industrial shelf unit.Original review:This would have been a lovely product if the company had responded to the following email (that I sent 3 times:)“I recently purchased your Industrial Pipe Shelf, which looks very nice. However, unfortunately, when I went to assemble it there were not 8 “A” pipes, there were only 4, along with 4 pipes that appear to have been assembled with the wrong piece on one end. (There were also a couple of pieces that were connected to the wrong pipes, which had me rather puzzled until I figured out what belonged where!)Since your instructions said to contact you in the event of defective parts, I’m sending you this email along with some photos. I’d really appreciate it if you can send me the correct parts so I can properly assemble & use it. Many thanks.”I’m disappointed by the Anynice people. The product seems very well constructed & would have been a nice home for my Buddhist books. I was also planning on buying other products from them, but if I can’t get a response from customer service when pieces are missing, I can’t risk it. I hate having to leave a bad review for a good product, but if it can’t be used due to missing pieces & no customer service, then I can’t really call it a good product. Disappointing.

This shelf is pretty good, and easy to assemble. It feels very sturdy as well. Mine is a little bit darker than the listing makes it appear, but not too much that it clashes with my plans for it.HOWEVER, the packaging has no sort of corner protection for the wood shelves, and mine arrived damaged. I can assemble those corners towards the back to hide most of it, but one shelf has a corner nearly busted all the way off. At the high price of such a basic design, I am very disappointed that the packaging does not protect the wood better!

I bought the 60 inch version of these shelves for my kitchen. i just want a lot of space to put things on where I can look at what is on the shelf and not have to root around in my cabinets. These shelves are made from real materials. The wood is really wood. The pipes that hold it all together are genuine metal pipes with heft to them. Not flimsy metal/plastic tubes like what you get with pretty much any kind of furniture you have to assemble yourself anymore. Real thick metal. I love it.The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for assembly is that it is a little difficult to screw all the pipes togehter in such a way that the end result is that the shelves are all level and the unit sits flat on the floor. I had to unscrew it and rescrew it after putting it all together to get it all aligned. It's not overly difficult to do but it's a little annoying. Such is to be expected when you are working with threaded pipes but you might be surprised like I was once you put the whole thing togehter and realize you have to take it all apart to get it aligned. I definitely have new respect for plumbers.Finally, because the materials that go into this shelf are real and hefty, this particular configuration of the shelves and parts can be altered. I can see myself using the wood in another project someday and getting other wood to use with the pipes for other shelves. I imagine I probably got two or three shelving systems with this one purchase, so it's worth it.Could you go to Home Depot buy all the stuff and make this yourself? Probably... but it wouldn't be cheaper and you would have to plan out drilling the holes and measurements yourself so it certainly would take a lot longer to construct too.I am glad I bought it. I shopped high and low to find a shelving unit this big and I am glad I bought it.

These were super easy to put together and very sturdy. I love the look. I was very happy with the quality for the money I spent.
