Nice that it works as a smart device but if the remote is lost or eaten by the dog this device should have an off on switch somewhere on it. But it doesn't

I searched quite a bit trying to find an outdoor ceiling fan for an open arbor in my yard . This one seems like it will do the job! Metal base and blades seem like they will hold up well . And I like the modern look ! Great fan!

Repeat purchase of a WAC ceiling fan, happy with the design & overall quality.

Initially I really liked this fan - the look is nice and fit my kitchen design perfectly. The ability to set up on the smart home system, and have the phone app to control it was what I liked most. The handheld physical remote was always fussy - it didn't always turn on/off when you wanted it to. I did not use this fan heavily. The entire unit completely stopped working before the 2 year mark. I'm working with support to see how they do and will update the review accordingly.

We are very happy with this fan. After reading a lot of reviews, we decided to purchase. My husband installed it with ease.

The media could not be loaded.  This fan looks beautiful! I also bought the extension since I have high ceilings but in the end, I didn’t use it because I what is satisfied how it looks. The issue I have is that when you run the fan at high speed it makes a clicking noise. See the video. Good news is that it doesn’t always make that noise at lower speed where most of the time the fan will be running. Also good news is that I can access this fan through Google Home. I recommend this with the caveat that it’s not perfect. Installer said it was very heavy to install.

I've installed a bunch of fans over the years. These 6 were some of the easier ones I have done (none are easy). The Bluetooth was pre-paired and the remotes are really nice looking compared to the Hunter remotes I have used in the past. Moves alot of air. Extremely quiet. Hookup to their app was pretty straightforward. Don't sweat the initial 'hunt for home' that the fan does when starting up. This is standard Brushless DC motor control algorithm stuff. All of the wires had been hooked up previously in all 6 fans indicating they are factory tested using these wires so don't worry if the wires are frayed that you received a return unit. Initial remote issues I read about appear to be solved in the later units.

Looks great. Put it on our screen porch. Love that the blade mounts are enclosed. Runs quiet. Was a little difficult to get the fan to line up properly on the mounting bracket. I think the bracket was a little bent, but we got it up with a little muscle & some swearing.
