Great snes inspired controller
I bought this because it reminded me of snes. Quality wise its good for what you paid for. It has motion controls strong vibrations. I had an issue and customer service responded quickly they got great customer service some sellers don't reply for days. Button presses are good sticks have a good rubber texture controller is not heavy so it's good for writs. Battery life is good for casual longer playthroughs you can plug it in with included usb c cable.

Decent, not great
Firstly what you get is not the same item pictured in the product listing. The controller I received didn't have a special magical "grip" on the back, nor did it have a switch as pictured. It's just a standard controller back made out of the same material as the controller front with a large foil label. It isn't particularly pleasant to touch, but it's not horrible either. When I first took this out of the package, I pressed a button on the face and the lights flashed for a moment. According to the instructions this is normal behavior. The first thing I did was to plug it into a USB cable attached to my Switch. The controller was instantly recognized and setup just as fast and efficiently as an OEM Pro controller. I was pretty happy with that part. About 20 seconds after I tested the sticks and buttons on the game I was playing, I hit the home button and put the console to sleep in order to test the claim that it will "wake" the Switch from standby. A lot of 3rd party controllers can't do this or can't do it consistently. As soon as the Switch went to sleep the controller just died. The lights shut off and would not flash when I pressed any button, or even when I plugged it in via USB. I tried plugging it in to the Switch USB, and also to a separate wall charger that I use to charge other Pro controllers. The controller was completely non-responsive even after being connected to the USB charger or Switch for as long as 15 minutes.I went to go request a replacement and noticed that Amazon has a "Troubleshoot" option which I decided to try out. The chat connected me with a rep who walked me through some troubleshooting scripts. It was funny because he first tried to walk me through the steps for troubleshooting an XBOX controller at first. I recognized the scripts he was using because they were from Microsoft and Nintendo's websites specifically. I'm a pretty avid gamer so I'm already familiar with troubleshooting these controllers but I walked through it with the rep again just for good measure. At the end of it, the rep exhausted his options and created an exchange order.I would also like to add that I read through the manual that came with the controller several times to make sure I wasn't overlooking some kind of "soft reset" procedure but there's nothing in there that comes close. I tried holding in certain buttons for 10-20 seconds as that sometimes works for other devices that get into a funk, but nothing. The next time I picked up the controller in preparation to box it up to return it, it was still dead (i.e. wouldn't light when buttons were pressed, wouldn't light when plugged in to USB). This time I pressed in the pairing button when I picked it up and got distracted while holding it down. After what was probably 60 seconds of holding the button down, the lights started flashing again and all of a sudden the controller was working normally.I'm not sure I trust it after it locked up like that immediately after less than 30 seconds of use, but while my replacement was on its way to me I went ahead and tested the controller out.To test I didn't do anything terribly scientific. I had just finished playing Metroid Dread with an OEM Pro controller and as that game is pretty demanding on the controller I thought it would be a good comparison to make. So I loaded up the final boss encounter and tried it out with this controller. The grip is not as comfortable as an OEM controller. The seam where the two halves of the controller shell join is a little sharp and you can feel it subtly digging into your hands as you hold the controller. The surface material of the controller is a little more slippery than an OEM Pro controller as well. Button presses provided noticeably less tactile feedback - this made it harder to do rapid button presses consistently. I was able to defeat the Metroid Dread end boss using this controller but the quality difference between this and an OEM controller was very obvious. The control sticks had good range and good grip, the buttons were responsive and while not as comfortable to hold as OEM the controller was comfortable enough.I was superficially drawn to this controller because I love the North American SNES color scheme, but I'm quite disappointed by the lack of quality. At this price the controller is fine for less demanding games. I'm also more comfortable handing a $22 controller to a child than I am handing a $70 controller to one.I didn't even bother with the vibration intensity adjustment - the vibration seemed fine out of the box. I also don't have any use for rapid-fire. I'm not even sure why manufacturers think this is a thing anymore, but I guess someone out there wants it?

Game on!
Was very surprised with how good this controller is! Its sleek with a nice color scheme, (reminiscent of the super nintendo) has a long battery life and is very light. The addition of rumble caught me off guard, the value of this controller is just amazing.

quality is so bad. joysticks rubber is terrible. contorller is very light. and best of all its not even 600mah. IT SAYS 400mah right on the bottom of the controller...

Alright for 3d games
The controller is ok for 3d games but would not recommend to those who play 2d games. Only reason is because the left joy stick. When moving to the right the character on screen freezes up an completely stops moving.Very frustrating. Only remedy I’ve found is completely taking your thumb off before changing directions, again not ideal for 2d games. However everything else is perfect.
