Perfect for Managing Lights Across Our Property
We’ve been using this smart plug to control lighting throughout our 10-acre property, and it’s been a total game changer. Setup was quick, and it connected to Alexa without any issues. Now we can just say “Alexa, turn on the patio lights” and boom—done. No walking out in the dark or fumbling for switches. It’s reliable, responsive, and handles outdoor lighting just fine (we keep it covered and out of the elements). I especially love that I can schedule lights to turn on in the evening or control them remotely if we're away. For anyone managing multiple lights around a larger property or just looking for convenience at home, this smart plug is absolutely worth it. We’ve had zero issues so far—and as a busy family of 7, anything that makes life a little easier is a win in my book.

Good product, great support.
A good product: easy to set up, easy to use, and sees the wifi from across the yard. Ours unfortunately quit working after about eleven months, which was bad, but the warranty is for a year. The company's customer support group, when contacted, immediately sent a replacement. It was about a week from item failure to reinstalling the replacement. So basically it's a good product and an excellent support system. Highly recommended.

Great Product!
Easy to set up and works well with Apple Home App. This is the first outdoor smart plug I've purchased and it is just as easy to set up as the Meross indoor plugs. I purchased this plug in 2022 and in 2025 it failed to connect to anything (I only use it in the summer). I suspect the failure was my fault because I did not keep the Meross App active on my phone so the plug was not receiving firmware updates. And, by this time I had lost the original set-up code for this plug. I emailed Meross support and received a timely reply with clear and understandable instructions on how to resolve the problem. I had the plug up and running again quickly. I use several indoor smart plugs and smart bulbs and have had no problems with them. I believe Meross to be good quality smart devices and one of the few who support Apple Home App.

Easy to setup smart outdoor plug with 3 controllable outlets and IP44 waterproofing
Meross has done it again, and this time with the smart wifi outdoor plug. Like the other smart Meross products I have purchased, setup was a breeze, taking less than 10 minutes to setup. You'll need to download the Meross app from either the Google or Apple play store and setup an account with them. Once that is done, setup is a breeze.Like all of the other Meross devices that I own, this one only connects to your 2.4Ghz wifi band. It will not connect to the 5Ghz band. But that is not a problem, since this device is not a bandwidth hog... Plus being on the 2.4Ghz band allows for the device to be reachable further away from the wireless router than when on the 5Ghz band.Integration with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple Homekit is supported and easy to setup, allowing you to use any of the voice assistants to remotely switch on or off your devices connected to the smart plug. The device build is pretty good and sturdy. However, the smart plug protective covers are flimsy and thin and are not effective in protecting the outlets. And when you try to put the protective cover on, it will not stay in, allowing a gap and exposing the outlet to the elements/water. Another issue that I noticed, and it's minor, is the clear warning label they placed on the front of the smart device. The clear label has black font, so it makes it hard to read the warning label on a black device. You literally have to look very closely and at an angle in order for you to read it. They should have used a white font or some.other contrasting color so that the label can be read.Other than those two issues, the smart outdoor plug works great and as intended. It can be remotely controlled via voice or through the Meross app. Plus setup was quick and easy. I am currently using it to control my string LED lights and and having them turn on in the evenings and turning them off in the daytime. So if you are looking for a smart outdoor plug, I highly recommend this as an option for you.

Perfect for outdoor holiday lights.
I bought this outdoor smart outlet situation for my outdoor holiday lights. I wanted something simple and affordable without a bunch of unnecessary features, except that HomeKit compatibility and reliability were important. I like my tech straightforward but sturdy and this smart outdoor outlet worked perfectly. I never had any issues with connectivity or response time (although it isn’t far from a WiFi access point), and it got several firmware updates over the time I’ve had it set up which indicates to me that Meross is on top of things. I hate that I have to create a Meross login if I want to use their app, which you must do if you want firmware updates, but everything is like that, now. This thing doesn’t have Matter capability and that’s fine for me since I have HomeKit, and that’s also partly what kept the price low. You might want to look for one with Matter if you aren’t sure which digital ecosystem you want to use or if you think you might want to switch it up. This thing was a great deal for a HomeKit setup and I’d absolutely recommend it.
