That way, no matter where I am in the house, I'm gonna hear that thing go off. But, let me tell you, this door chime is no joke. Even with just one unit cranking, it's loud! Seriously, I could probably hear it from a mile away. Good thing I didn't need both of 'em, 'cause that would be overkill!Now, the coolest part is all the different chimes you can choose from. It's like a whole concert in my entryway! I picked one that matches my vibe, and now every time someone walks through my door, it's like a mini party. This is the second one we’ve had. The first one just stopped working. This one we’ve had for about a year and it’s working just fine. Sticky points stay to the front door. There are tons of sounds to choose from you can adjust the volume up and down overall functions well, if this one breaks, I’ll probably just buy another one again.

Great for my shop door! Love that it has two chimes! Placed one in my house so I'm alerted if a customer enters my shop next door.

It works now, but we went to return it for not working and that's when it started to behave. We tested it a lot and at first it wouldn't work every time. We were very frustrated. We don't know what changed but after "threatening" to return it, it works great. Would be 5 stars if it works right away.

Does not work with Metal door frames/metal doors. I do not see anything in the description for this necessary detail. You find this out after you open the box and start reading the setup instructions.
