Best a man can get for fried rice 🥰
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **The Wok That Rocks: A Culinary Heavyweight Champion!**As someone who's tried frying pans, non-stick pans, and even a questionable skillet from my college days, let me tell you: the Craft Wok Big 16 Inch Heavy Hand Hammered Carbon Steel Pow Wok is the heavyweight champion of my kitchen!**First Impressions:**When I unboxed this behemoth, I felt like a blacksmith preparing for battle. It’s not just a wok; it’s a weapon! The craftsmanship is so impressive, I half-expected to find Thor’s autograph on it. The hammer marks on this thing are a testament to its hand-forged awesomeness, making it look like it was forged in the fires of Mount Doom (or at least a really intense workshop).**Performance:**Cooking with this wok is like driving a Ferrari, only cheaper and without the risk of speeding tickets. The heat distribution is so even that it makes my old pans weep with jealousy. Stir-frying vegetables? Perfectly crispy. Searing meat? Juicier than a soap opera. Even my scrambled eggs now look like they belong in a Michelin-starred restaurant. If this wok could talk, it would say, "You're welcome," after every meal.**Ergonomics:**The wooden handle is a blessing for my delicate chef hands. It’s comfortable, sturdy, and has a grip so good, I could probably stir-fry during an earthquake. The steel helper handle? Genius. It’s like having a trusty sidekick who never lets you down, no matter how heavy the load (or how clumsy the cook).**Cleaning and Maintenance:**Sure, it requires some TLC (tender loving care, for the non-wok-savvy), but treating this wok right feels like a culinary ritual. Seasoning it was surprisingly therapeutic, and now it sports a non-stick patina that would make a Teflon pan blush. Just remember: no soap! Treat it like your best cast iron buddy.**Conclusion:**The Craft Wok is not just a cooking instrument; it's a lifestyle upgrade. It's for anyone who wants to feel like a kitchen ninja while making dinner. If Bruce Lee was a chef, this would be his wok of choice. Whether you’re stir-frying, deep-frying, or just admiring its sheer badassery, this wok delivers. If you’re on the fence, just go for it. Your taste buds (and probably your muscles) will thank you. This wok rocks, and that’s no yolk!---I hope this review brings a smile to your face and captures the essence of your new wok!

Fantastic wok, just what I hoped for
I’d bought an outdoor wok ring (the Eastman kahuna is excellent bang for buck) and my existing wok felt a little puny on there. This thing was fantastic! I love the colors it changed as I seasoned it, and it performs super well. It is indeed heavy: you are unlikely to do a lot of tossing with one hand. But it is large and high quality and reliably turns out fantastic food. Just did kung pao shrimp, cumin lamb, yuxiang eggplant, all the goodness I was missing from China. Great product, recommend

Heavy, dude.
It’s heavy. But it’s to be expected. It is also huge. Crazy cartoony huge. Very solid and works great. My only complaint is regarding the handle. Because it is so heavy, a longer handle would be make it easier to hold and handle and would be safer, as the metal does get too hot to touch. Also, the handle is held in with only two screws (@4&8o’clock) and it creaks each time I grab it, like it’s loose. It almost seems like it’s going to break off, every time I use it. I may replace the handle with a longer one, as well as add a third screw for more stability. Other than that, it seems like a well made, quality item, of at least restaurant quality, that will be used often and last a long time.I started seasoning this on the stove but it was taking too long, was difficult to hold, even with the ring, and was coming out uneven. I ended up putting the whole thing in my barbecue grill, first above the coal and then in it. It turned the whole thing a beautiful black and blue. I even turned it upside down for a while.I fried an egg in it and it swirled like it was in on Teflon.

Heavy-duty, large, and very well made!
First, this wok met all my expectations for its size and quality of construction. It's extremely well made. Due to the nature of carbon steel, after the initial seasoning process and first use for meal preparation, I knew I needed to re-season it and keep a light coat of oil on it to avoid rusting. Cabinet space is limited, and we have a closet we converted to a small appliance and cooking-related "pantry", so I ordered a set of hooks that hang over the top of the door, and I slightly bent in the two middle hooks to accommodate the wok handle (the first pic shows how it hung crooked before I adjusted the hooks). The seasoned (lightly-oiled) wok is now hung out of sight where it won't transfer oil to other items, and it's also a convenient spot to hand the extra-long stainless steel wok utensils I ordered with the wok (Craft Wok brand for all, and overall, the exceptional quality of products exceeded my expectations).

Awesome Wok
Seasoned easily and perfectly. I'm learning to make great Chinese food and other Asian dishes.

Can’t say it’s a feature to have it bent up crooked like a misshapen taco
Thought about it for two days, if this is suppose to be a feature. Seems more like a B-stock item that shouldn’t have been sent here in its “form.”Could this shape be good for pouring? “Maybe” I’ve thought, but still it’s an oblong oval shaped pan with no uniformity. How about when I have to toss things around during the cook and I have to work with the fact the edges *are not* lined up correctly from side to side? Not something I’d like to see myself getting use to for its price. Also the handle is a bit small for the size like others have said. Could do with extra reinforcement and an extra inch or so to lengthen.
