The media could not be loaded. 2005 Mini Cooper S (R53)Better and cheaper than OEM. Part is built using cable rod instead of fibre/plastic. Length is spot on. Reads well and clearly.

Very Difficult to Read When Oil is Fresh.
Car is a 2005 MINI Cooper R52. The original BMW part (fibres enclosed in plastic) had almost broken off at the handle. This replacement is a better design being a steel cable so will last but the yellow plastic scale being the same colour as (fresh) motor oil makes it very difficult to read when the oil like new e.g. when you're filling up during an oil change. Once the oil begins to darken it is somewhat better. Accuracy is spot on compared to the OEM original.

i’ve never had to replace a dipstick before this but it was like any other dipstick i’ve had, so it works :)

Better than the factory oil dip stick.
I replaced a few factory ones but they always end up cracking due to the stiff fiberglass design that is required to make some bends in the tube. With this aftermarket dip stick I dont have to worry about it cracking and losing part of the dip stick in the oil pan!
