Animal safe
Got these for my goats and they are in love with them. Have purchased other brands and they did not like them as much. These are always fresh.

Reasonably priced
I bought them to feed crows that hang around my house. It took a couple of days but once they realized I was feeding them if I'm not outside at 6:30 am I get an earful! My dog loves watching them hop around while they eat. They are so cool.

Cracked/broken shells
Most of the shells are cracked or broken with lose peanuts in the bag. For this price I was expecting a quality peanut for boiling. Very poor quality better off getting the grocery store peanuts for a fraction of the price (2$/pound not 14$ for pounds of broken small peanuts)

Lovely but small and partially empty.
Bag is considerably smaller than expected and half full. It's advertised as packed to the brim so I was rather disappointed. I am excited to garden with these regardless.

Boil Up Nicely - A Good Deal!
This 2 lb bag of raw peanuts is excellent for boiling. I usually boil up 1 lb at a time and it'll last me all week as I enjoy a few at a time. I use a 15-quart pot, add peanuts and rinse, then add water to half of the container, add 1/3 cup of salt (less salt is good for me), and bring to a boil for 1-5 to 2 hours or so. Stir them occasionally and begin tasting them at 1.5 hours till they get done to your desire. I like mine firm and not mushy. This is an excellent food source and much better than snacking on chips or highly processed, high-carb foods. Note: I can get a 2 lb bag in-store for $6.79. But not the same volume. A store bag has wet peanuts while these peanuts come air dried so you get a larger amount of peanuts in this 2 lb bag. And these are excellent in quality. I believe these are healthier bc they are less moist and preserve better before cooking.
