Bad quail product and bad service from seller quality
Very bad quality product not worth buying. The markers also are not good quality and erasing anything you write on the mat take too much hard work for no reason. I have seen other mats which erase with tissue paper also with complete ease. On top of that i am not satisfied with the product and they are not even ready to accept return and refund me my money. Bad product and bad service from seller

Best mat ever?
I’ve been playing dnd for about 7 years and mats come and go. The reason why I love this mat is because of how durable it is and how easy it cleans off. When using the markers just a spritz of hand sanitizer and bam it’s clean like new. Another great thing is the container it’s very strong and durable. It’s like a blueprint holder, and with a bit of creativity can be painted over to look custom. Overall I love this mat hopefully it lasts longer then the last lol

Perfect simple but versatile battlemap for TTRPG
Nice color & grid is visible but not overwhelming. Having 1" square on one side & 1" hex on the other makes it very versatile. I compared it to the competition and only the neoprene mat compared but was twice as expensive

no suprises - curl needs management - acceptable in every way
If you can get a piece of Lexan, lay that over the top of this (or, at that point, any other print) and dry-erase write on that. But if not, some weights will hold the edges but the paper's moderately thick which means it holds a curl. But also that it doesn't feel flimsy, so, tradeoffs.hex- and square-grids means I can sketch out a nice regional map, scan it to a pdf and print it (free Adobe phone app) black and white, then flip the sheet and battle-map at need. If you can find a larger-diameter tube for storage you'll be happy you did, as it will help with the curl.Paper edge separates if you're uncautious sliding the sheet around - which shouldn't be a surprise, as it's made of paper, thick and shiny but still layered. And like I said, it's plenty thick.Comes with 2 dry-erase pens which is a nice touch. 4 stars across the board not because anything's wrong with it, only because nothing's particularly amazing. Just plenty acceptable for the cost, which is all you can fairly ask for.

Maybe one of the best battle maps I've ever owned
I bought my first one back in '17 - I had used vinyl battlemaps for decades and opted to see if this one was any better. I was pleasantly surprised. This doesn't mean it's perfect, but for the price, the value, and the quality it was one of the best maps I've ever bought.Easy to clean, it flattens if you read the directions pretty easily, and it's both squared and hex patterned. I've been guilty of leaving the maps from adventures set on my maps and this was the easiest map I've had to clean. It is very thin - it does wear after a few years, but when I went to buy my son a battle map I bought one of these.

Sturdy mat for your next campaign
This is a nice, sturdy mat to use for mapping out visuals in tabletop gaming. It's a little thicker than cardstock with a semi-glossy coating on top that provides a great writing surface for dry erase markers. I haven't tested it, but as long as you don't use a lot of water on it, I'd imagine it'd also be suitable for wet-erase markers if you want something with just that much more staying power in your gaming. With two sides providing both hexes and squares, it's suitable for a wide variety of systems and games. And at 24"x36" it's a decent enough size to be utilitarian but not so big that you need your own designated table. While not enough to take a star away for me or anything, I'd have loved to see perhaps a little more thickness like a thin mousepad-like material in between layers to give the mat a little more substance and give it the ability to naturally unroll without holding the curled memory state. Considering the price, however, what you are getting is of solid value.
