In my old house, I had a seagrass rug that I adored, and when I moved into this house, because the floors are lighter colored; the natural fiber rugs really didn’t look right. They were too yellow, and there wasn’t enough contrast.I ended up with patterned rugs that I didn’t love, but they worked in the space, but I was excited when I saw that they were starting to sell bleached, natural fiber rugs. I love the simplicity and subtle texture of natural fiber, rugs… Patterns can be too busy for me.This rug has met my expectations. What I like about it is, it’s not just plain white. If you look closely, it’s subtle shades of white cream and gray interwoven… If it was all just a block of white, I think it would look cheap. The subtle gradiations of color highlights that this is natural fiber, I like that .You will need to invest in either an underlayment, or if you are on a budget like myself some carpet tape works very well to secure the edges of the rug to the floor and to help train it to be flat as the edges do roll up a little bit.Also, this rug is not too stiff like seagrass… It’s soft enough that it’s comfortable on my feet. Only time will tell how well it holds up, but based on aesthetics, size and feel… I am a fan and ordering a second one for my bedroom!

So I received the rug yesterday and unrolled it and placed it in my dining room. The rug is nice, aa expected and was, in my mind, reasonably priced but I had one concern...it smells very earthy. I am hoping that this is just something that will fade in a few days and was just a by product of it being stored away...if it does then I will update my review and give it 5 stars.

I ordered this rug, mainly after seeing the many purchases and 4.2 star reviews. It appeared to be exactly what I had been looking for. It arrived well packaged, in a thick plastic wrap. I'm not sure what all the griping is, in other reviews, on the difficulty unwrapping it. Just use a utility/razor knife and careful cut it off!! The rug was well made, true to color and softer than what I had anticipated. We love it and so did our interior designer. I will be purchasing another one, to place in a master bedroom.

I bought this area, rug in natural . It is beautiful it lays down perfectly except for may be one corner that’s already starting to relax down. I highly recommend. No odor no shedding so far and feels pretty good under my bare feet. I bought a rug pad made by a gorilla grip it works great! Highly recommend it doesn’t move at all, I must note that without the mattress pad it didn’t move very much at all anyways, this is a good quality rug and looks great with my Japandi decor.

Just received the rug yesterday—- placed it under the dining room table to discover, it’s missing the edging. Otherwise I like the it but this shouldn’t be.

Has a couple of flaw spots, but for the price it’s worth it. One spot is about the size of my palm - I was able to tuck that part under the couch so it’s not visible. Beats spending $400+!

The quality of this rug was better than I expected for the price. Very satisfied.

It is thicker than expected, which is great. I love the color and texture too.

Very well made and looks very impressive on the floor. The weave is tight therefore the dirt does not fall through as in the regular loose weave.. Black is very rich

I like the naturalness and the look of this rug. It's casual and very comfortable to walk on. I do have a small issue with the corners curling but hope after a while with heavy items on each corner it will lie flat.

The comments of the middle slightly pops up is correct. The material was softer than what I imagined. All in all it’s not easy to clean and the durability is okay but I still love the look of it. I ordered black and it came black. I’m pretty happy with the purchase. There was no smell and it didn’t come dirty. New carpets or rugs it is always recommended to vacuum.

Vacuum cleaner destroys this carpet.
